As our new colleague, you will join our European Origination team which is responsible for all DC’s customer-related activities within Europe. We have customers across all of Europe, many of which are owners of wind parks and PV/solar parks or owners of flexible assets such as CHP plants, batteries, industrial plants and other large producers or consumers of electricity. We act as the natural link between our customers and our physical asset team and trading teams. And our goal is to be the best to provide solutions that will enable our customers to grow their businesses and support them in their green transitions.We are a diverse team with various nationalities and backgrounds, and our team members are seated across our different European office locations. What we all have in common is our deep understanding of our customers’ needs and how DC’s capabilities, combined with market conditions, can provide our customers with the best possible market access. In the team, there is an informal and straightforward tone, and we believe that working as a team is the key to success. You will join a team of highly skilled people from whom you will be able to learn and develop.
Your journey as our new colleague in European Origination
Starting out, you will get a thorough introduction to the team, your tasks and how our originators approach the market. Your first assignment will be to get introduced to our CRM system and the customer onboarding process. You will be natural support to our originators in their work with our customers. Over time, you will have a key position in European Origination and play a significant role in the entire value-creation of our renewables business in the European countries. You will be working close to our customer business as you will support the on- and offboarding of customer processes, and, on a daily basis, you will be working closely together with the Head of Origination and support him with daily operational tasks. As such, we expect that you are efficient and take a structured approach to the task at hand. Responsibilities
- support the Head of Origination with daily operational tasks such as meeting preparation, dialogue with customers and analyses
- support the team of originators, such as assisting in streamlining CRM processes, preparing and following up on meeting material and taking part in customer meetings as needed
- optimise and automate work processes in European Origination
- assist with on-boarding/off-boarding customer processes
- support with ad hoc tasks (administrative, analysis and monitoring regulatory changes, lead creation, etc.)
Qualifications
we expect that you:
- either have a relevant educational background within Business Administration, Finance, International Business, Economics, Engineering or similar –
- or have 1-2 experience in clerical work
- are interested in the (renewable) energy sector
- are proficient in English

we expect that you:
- are a self-starter as well as a great collaborator – you will join a team, but you will also need to work independently on many tasks
- see opportunities where others see problems – to safeguard business operations, you employ a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, choosing the best solution for each problem
- enjoy working in a structured manner as there are various processes and deadlines to follow – and if the structure is not there yet, it is expected that you provide it
- take a holistic approach to the job and provide a high level of service, no matter the size of the task – as we service and support multiple stakeholders
