Green Hydrogen Systems (GHS) is ready to take a position as one of the world’s leaders in developing and producing electrolysis plants that use electricity from renewable energy and water to produce green hydrogen. The GHS modular solutions will help accelerate the market for hydrogen plants to ensure optimal utilization of renewable energy. The global market for electrolysers is significant and is growing rapidly. We are in the process of commercialising our next generation electrolysers, and the vision is that with modular solutions, we will help accelerate the market for hydrogen plants that can ensure optimal utilisation of renewable energy.
With solid owners and close collaboration with major Danish and foreign partners in the energy market, the foundation is in place. We are now looking for a System Safety Engineer, who has the ability and desire to participate in the further development of our advanced electrolysis technology.
Tasks
In the role as System Safety Engineer, you will have the safety responsibility of our electrolysis unit. You will specify the safety concept on the electrolyser unit, across and in collaboration with the electronical-, mechanical and process technical areas of expertise. You will design the concept and specify how the safety concept should look and function on a top level, while the component-level will be developed in collaboration with the line functions in R&D. As a natural part of the role, comes the responsibility of Design-FMEA, which includes Workshop preparation, execution and follow up.</p In brief: you will be a fundamental part of the team enabling a greener future.

Your main tasks will be:
- Develop and specify safety concepts on our product platform
- Adjust system safety systems to each product variant
- Conduct safety concept and DFMEA workshops
- Conclude and follow up on safety and DFMEA workshops
Qualifications and experience
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A technical master´s degree within electrical, mechanical, chemistry or similar
- Experience in the development of safety concepts in large system setups, across development functions (such as: Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Chemistry, etc.)
- Experience within ATEX and calculation of area classification
- Experience in preparing, conducting, and following up on: HAZOP, HAZID, FMEA, QRA & PHA workshops</li
- Knowledge of and experience within the standards of: ATEX, Pressure equipment, Machine directive, electrical installations (low and medium voltage).
- Experience from the hydrogen/gas industry is a big plus.
- Good coordination skills
- Strong communication skills Danish and English language skills (both written and verbal)
