About the team
You will be a part of our Innovation team in Manufacturing Development in Diabetes Finished Products, Product Supply. Your working place will be both at our global specialist centre in Bagsværd as well as our test factory and Innovation Hub in Kalundborg. The team mission is to minimise or eliminate human interaction with our production lines by means of robotics, automation and optimizations. You will be working together with academics, technicians and external development partners covering a wide range of disciplines where your focus will be mainly mechanical stability of our lines. We guarantee that you will be exposed to exciting professional challenges and development opportunities.
The job
Your overall objective is to evaluate and improve the mechanics of our production lines to optimise our production. You will be responsible for large scale initiatives that assesses the mechanical designs of our production lines and equipment across the world and in corporation with colleagues you will responsible for conceiving new concepts that will improve the line stability and prepare them for increased automation. You will act as our global specialist and will be responsible for educating people in robust mechanical design as well as you will ensure support to projects that rely on robust mechanical design. In your specialist role you will ensure that we as an organisation has the newest knowledge within your field and you will also ensure collaboration with the external front runners.
Qualifications
You have a structured, persistent and yet pragmatic mind set and hold a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or similar. You have 5-10 years’ experience working with mechanical development and you are highly specialised within kinematics, tolerances and you are familiar with structural analyses. You have solid CAD experience and a proven track record within mechanical design. You will to some extent be working together with external partners and therefore you must be outgoing and eager to search for the opportunities in partnerships. Experience with design for aseptic processing, GMP and related material knowledge is a great plus. When working in a specialist role and with external partners - navigating among multiple stakeholder interests - your communication and interpersonal skills are essential tools on your road to success.
