Then you could be our new Strategy and cLEAN specialist in DFP Strategy & Operational Excellence.

About the department


DFP Strategy & Operational Excellence is a part of DFP Business Support located in the Bagsværd HQ - an international and high-performing area consisting of around 35 people from approx. 15 different countries. The Strategy & Operational Excellence department is responsible for driving the direction and strategy implementation for Diabetes Finished Product organisation. To ensure DFP stays the competitive choice for Novo Nordisk and delivers robust performance, we need to partner with the business to support and enable business decision – thereby impacting the strategic outlook and decisions for future actions.

The job


As cLEAN specialist you will be part of driving and deploying the overall strategy process in DFP. The deployment of our strategy is critical for DFP to succeed both short- and long- term. The opportunities to impact the strategic direction setting are therefore great.

You will be responsible to drive, facilitate and develop the strategy deployment in close cooperation with DFP Business Support management, the production sites and the DFP SVP and management team. This is expected to be done through strong use of Hoshin Kanri strategy deployment and cLEAN tools & mindset. As cLEAN specialist you will also shape the future operational excellence approach in DFP and ensure a clear link from overall strategy to activities at shop-floor. Finally, you will be expected to ensure that the organisation is benchmarking to industry practices through collaboration with external companies and academia.

You will be working in a challenging and dynamic environment with many stakeholders ranging from the SVP of DFP to the shop-floor on the 7 global factories in the DFP network. You will also represent DFP in relevant LEAN fora across Product Supply.

You will join a team with a diverse set of skills and background where the ambition is to raise the bar to the next level. The position requires that you have a strategic mindset, strong drive, good stakeholder management skills and are a quick learner who are comfortable in working in at times high pace environment.

Qualifications

The candidate could be working out of HQ in Bagsværd or from a DFP factory, which direct reporting line to strategy manager in DFP Strategy & Operational Excellence.

The ideal candidate have a strong and experienced profile within strategy, cLEAN, senior stakeholder coaching and interaction as well as ability to bring input and opportunities to concrete actions. You are detail-oriented and prosper in working with various senior stakeholder as well as breaking down complex problems with systematic application of rigorous data-driven thinking. You have high quality standards and you have distinguished yourself for delivering impressive results over the course of your previous work experience. Your solid skills and work ethics make you comfortable taking on challenging assignments, and you typically deliver beyond expectations. When you identify an opportunity for improvement it is important for us that you have the spirit to speak up and challenge us.

You are fluent in English (written and verbal) and enjoy working in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment where every day is different and where you never get bored. You identify yourself with the below prerequisites:

  • Excellent communication, facilitation and visualisation skills.
  • 5-10 years or work experience with LEAN tools and mindset, project management, strategy deployment or similar and with a proven track record on these topics.
  • Comfortable and experienced in engaging and working with and presenting to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and high adaptability to new business settings and decent knowledge within business processes.
  • No afraid of getting your ‘hands dirty’ and converting strategy into concrete actions on shopfloor.

  • Work location: The position can be filled in any DFP site location as well as Bagsværd Denmark
