Senior IT Project Manager
Are you an experienced Technical IT Project Manager, Scrum Master or the like, maybe with a background with-in technical service owner, Infrastructure, TelCo, IT System Manager with a strong ability to drive things forward, take ownership and used to stakeholder and vendor management? Are you experienced with acting as a liaison between the line of business for daily operation and the offshoring organisation responsible for system management? Do you want to play a key role in the continued development and improvement of one of Novo Nordisk’s large portfolios of IT systems within Facility management, and develop your skills in a truly global IT organisation? Then this role could be the right opportunity. The workplace is in Novo Nordisk A/S’s HQ in Denmark, Bagsværd.

The position
In your role as Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Ensure coordination and effective management of various projects on the system with-in the portfolio and drive vendor management

  • Be the single point of contact in the IT organisation for the line of business and the system owners in the facility organisation

  • Structure and drive close collaboration with system management who are based in our sister organisation in India

  • Collaborate closely with the line of business and your colleagues in Digital, Data & IT to make ends meet

  • Interact with your colleagues in the system management team, business process owners, other Digital, Data & IT functions, and external consultants

  • Sometimes review, evaluate, and make sure the quality of deliverables to the business are of the right quality, and that relevant information is gathered from line of business in a supportive way


This could be driving progress on activities with our infrastructure team. You will liaison with scoping and executing business requirements. You are flexible team player, who has a mindset of doing what is needed for the team to succeed as whole. You will be in a key position to mature and improve the portfolio of systems. In your daily work, you take an active role in an engaging work environment and take ownership and drive things where you see the need.

Qualification
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • B. Sc or M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or Business administration or equivalent, with some years of working experience e.g., with-in technical project management, scrum-master, implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure or telco or applications

  • High level in written and oral English


As a person, you are characterised by being able to work in a dynamic environment that requires flexibility, prioritisation, independence, and solution orientation. You are confident in yourself, dares to question, and through your facilitation skills you drive finding solutions. While at the same time managing your own projects, you also appreciate to be part of a team that you can engage and socialise with, even when their work is in a different domain than yours. In general, you contribute with a positive outgoing spirit.

About the department
In Quality & Facilities IT, within Digital, Data & IT , you will be part of driving various smaller projects and maturing the way we manage a suite of critical IT systems, where you will be focused on the Facility management IT systems. It is a portfolio of approx. 25 systems. The day-today system management responsibility is anchored in our Indian organisation, with whom you will get to liaise between the DK based line of business in the Corporate Facilities department. It is a large coordination job for many different activities and infrastructure changes impact the systems.

There are 10 specialists in Quality & Facilities IT. You will join a team of highly dedicated and experienced colleagues. Your day-to-day collaboration will be mostly with Indian system management colleagues and the DK based line of business colleagues.
