Your main objective in the role as Laboratory Technician will be to collaborate closely with both the Scientists and the other Laboratory Technicians in the team to have the biophysical laboratory run smoothly and deliver results in a timely matter.

The position
You will spend most of your time in the laboratory in a fast-paced environment with multiple and changing tasks; however, you will also be responsible for processing and reporting the obtained data. Your daily routine may vary from standard tasks to more challenging and innovative work.
The results of the analyses conducted are reported in English using electronic notebooks. You will also be responsible for equipment and maintenance of the equipment. You can look forward to a position with a wealth of academic and practical challenges in a team that supports all our production sites. With a multitude of different nationalities in the team, both working and social language is English.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will:
- Plan and conduct experiments in the laboratory
- Find solutions to practical issues
- Take responsibility for setting up day-to-day operations, for instance setting up experiments and performing maintenance on equipment
- Collect and report results to scientists in the team
- Get the unique possibility to expand your knowledge and learn about production sites in an industry setting with international colleagues
- The position is permanent and based at our site in Bagsværd, Denmark.
Qualifications

Furthermore, qualifications are:
- You are educated as a Laboratory Technician, potentially with an overlayer as Bachelor of Biomedical Laboratory Science (from “Professionshøjskolen”) or equivalent.
- Fluency in English writing and speaking.
It is considered an advantage if you have experience with:
- MS office, LIMS, SAP and JMP
- Prior work with SAXS, DLS, MFI, ThT assays, FT-IR and/or rheometry
- Scripting skills
