About the position
In Manufacturing IT, we have been on the Agile transformation journey over the last 3 years. Now, we need to define the next stage of our voyage.
As the Agile Transformation Lead you are expected to lead the continuous change effort and ensure ongoing improvement to the anchoring of the agile mindset and methodologies. You will be heading up our newly established Lean Agile Centre of Enablement (LACE) in Manufacturing IT.
The role requires extensive stakeholder management at all organisational levels in Novo Nordisk, and an ability to manoeuvre between parts of the organisation with different levels of maturity in terms of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and engage stakeholders at all levels.

About the department
Manufacturing IT Lean Agile Centre of Enablement (MIT LACE) is a newly established team anchored in Lean Portfolio Management. The team is virtual, with representatives from key agile roles across the organisation including agile coaches who you will be working closely with along with the APMO. MIT LACE will act as the frontrunner and catalyst for change for agile ways of working in Manufacturing IT in close collaboration with the Global LACE.

As the Agile Transformation Lead you are expected to lead the continuous change effort and ensure ongoing improvement to the anchoring of the agile mindset and methodologies. You will be heading up our newly established Lean Agile Centre of Enablement (LACE) in Manufacturing IT.
The role requires extensive stakeholder management at all organisational levels in Novo Nordisk, and an ability to manoeuvre between parts of the organisation with different levels of maturity in terms of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Key responsibilities will require you to:
- Champion agile ways of working within Manufacturing IT as frontrunner and change agent and create buy-in to change by continuously demonstrating the value of agile as an enabler of digitalisation.
- Build on the foundation of the newly established MIT LACE.
- Represent Manufacturing IT on the Global Lean Agile Centre of Excellence (LACE) in Digital, Data and IT and bring back learnings to the Manufacturing IT organisation.
- Coach and influence the agile leadership, execution, and behaviour of key agile roles and senior leaders.
- Closely engage and collaborate with Agile Coaches, RTE’s, Product Managers, People Leaders, and Scrum Masters on defining a joint Manufacturing IT product backlog.
- Facilitate Novo Nordisk’s digital ambition by transitioning and maturing agile ways of working towards value- and customer-driven development.
Qualifications
As a person,you are a team player and a natural in building relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and engage stakeholders at all levels.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in most of the following skills & experiences:
- Master’s degree in Business, IT or another relevant field or similar in experience
- More than five years of experience working with Agile transformations and leadership from a large, global and complex organisations
- Advanced knowledge on SAFe/Agile principles and mindset
- Mastery of various coaching techniques as well as facilitation tools and methods, and an understanding of the importance of flexibility and change management to succeed with your ideas and beliefs
- Strong people management skills and a natural ability to engage stakeholders
- Experience from working in highly complex project organisations, preferably within a regulated industry
