Would you like to work with sample forecasting and capacity planning to ensure that Injectable Finished Products Quality Control (IFP QC) has sufficient resources and can deliver QC analysis results according to our customer needs? The position
Your primary area of responsibility will be to collaborate with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Logistics, Production, Development, Project managers, QC Planners) to ensure efficient and effective forecasting systems and aligned lead time agreements. This entails the responsibility for making certain that all samples are forecasted precisely, improving forecast accuracy and supporting prioritization of fast-track batches. About the department
We are a newly established team so far consisting of 5 employees but expect to grow further in near future. We support business processes in a QC area of 200 employees, including sample forecasting, digital solutions and planning tools, LEAN and optimisation as well as managing various QC related projects. The forecasting process supports samples delivered from a significant number of stakeholders across all functional areas in Novo Nordisk.

Then you might be the Senior QC Planner we are looking for!
The position
Your primary area of responsibility will be to collaborate with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Logistics, Production, Development, Project managers, QC Planners) to ensure efficient and effective forecasting systems and aligned lead time agreements. This entails the responsibility for making certain that all samples are forecasted precisely, improving forecast accuracy and supporting prioritization of fast-track batches. Furthermore, you will also be in charge of:
- Ensuring effective planning and execution of the samples and act as support to major projects or validation tasks as “one point of entry” to QC in close collaboration with our laboratories.
- Evaluating short and long-term capacity planning needs, including identifying major changes and potential bottlenecks; suggesting when mitigation plans are needed.
- Supporting an effective and aligned approach to local planning and optimal daily execution including support and optimisation of our digital planning tools.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- A minimum Science Bachelor’s degree.
- Some relevant experience in QA, QC, Logistics Supply Chain department, where you have worked on processes, planning, data management or similar. It is advantageous if you have experience in Pharma.
- It is considered an advantage if you have experience or knowledge in GMP, Project Management, Lean, or data system (Tableau, Alteryx or similar).
- Fluency in spoken and written English. Proficiency in Danish is a great advantage.
