If so, then seize the opportunity and join Global Talent Acquisition team at Novo Nordisk as our new Director, Talent Acquisition International, covering regions EMEA, LATAM and JAPAC.

The position
As Director of Talent Acquisition International, you will assume leadership of an organisation of 50+ diverse and high-performing talent acquisition professionals split into 5 regional TA teams. You and your teams will be responsible for recruitments across R&D and manufacturing sites as well as commercial part of the organisation in regions EMEA, LATAM and JAPAC. Together with your TA International management team you will work closely with our P&O colleagues across the regions to understand the talent needs of the business and translate them into effective talent acquisition action plans and ensure successful execution.

Furthermore, you will contribute with your extensive TA leadership experience in order to ensure that every single team member in TA International continues to feel that their well-being and development is prioritised and safeguarded and that their performance is fairly evaluated and recognised.

Anchored in our Global Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence, you will report to Isabella Rinder, VP Global Talent Acquisition and will become part of the Global TA management team.

Your main responsibilities can be summarised as follows:

  • Lead a diverse team of talent acquisition professionals by setting a clear direction and promoting a culture of teamwork, learning and belonging.
  • Strive to deliver excellent candidate and hiring manager experience on every recruitment.
  • Safeguard our global TA standards and ensure scalability.
  • Build strong partnership with the wider P&O organisation and other relevant stakeholders across Novo Nordisk as well as with external partners.
  • Partner with peers from Global TA management to evolve Global Talent Acquisition to the next level as one team.

Qualifications

  • You have an extensive experience in solid TA from a global company with comparable size and complexity.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry would be an advantage.
  • You have proven experience leading global and diverse teams being able to inspire and empower people.
  • You thrive in a matrix environment and know how to build strong and trustworthy relationships with stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
  • You have an academic degree and can communicate effectively in English.
