The position
We welcome 2 Analytical Chemists to join us on a permanent and temporary basis, where we have an opening for a 2-year FTC to cover maternity leave.
As an Analytical Chemist, you will join the Validation team and will be ensuring theoptimisation, validation and implementation of analytical methods. The team is responsible for maturing and validation of new analytical methods for Diabetes and Obesity products. This includes optimisation of analytical methods in close collaboration with CMC, validation and documentation in internal reports, and giving input to submission to documents for the authorities.

Going forward, new analytical methods with the purpose of real time release testing will be introduced, and our new analytical chemists can get a role in testing, validation and implementation of new technologies.
Your main stakeholders will be colleagues in the department, QA, CMC, Regulatory Affairs and our QC laboratories across the world! About the department
Analytical Competence Centre is a department in Injectable Finished Products (IFP) Manufacturing Development and consists of 58 employees organised in 3 teams. We are responsible for optimisation and validation of analytical methods before clinical phase 3, and we secure implementation of the analytical methods at our production sites across the world.
Furthermore, the department is on a journey involving scouting, testing, and implementing of new analytical techniques to reduce the lead time for analysis, with the ambitious long-term goal of real time release testing of diabetes and obesity finished products. We strive to do all of this in a collaborative environment of joy and curiosity.
The Analytical Validation team consists of 1 specialist, 8 academics and 13 laboratory technicians.

The position

As an Analytical Chemist, you will join the Validation team and will be ensuring theoptimisation, validation and implementation of analytical methods. The team is responsible for maturing and validation of new analytical methods for Diabetes and Obesity products. - Solving scientific and technical challenges during method optimisation, validation and implementation.
- The analytical methods are primarily UPLC/HPLC, but also includes AAS, pH, Freezing point depression and High Voltage Leak Detection.
Going forward, new analytical methods with the purpose of real time release testing will be introduced, and our new analytical chemists can get a role in testing, validation and implementation of new technologies.

Qualifications
Your experiences include:
- Scientific academic degree such as cand. pharm., cand. scient., chemical engineer or similar.
- Experience within analytical chemistry, troubleshooting, optimisation and validation of analytical methods.
- Experience from a laboratory environment, subject to GMP with one or several analytical techniques, such as UPLC/HPLC, pH, AAS or container closure integrity.
- Preparing and writing reports to regulatory authorities.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Spoken Danish will be seen as advantage – if you do not speak Danish, your willingness to learn the language would be required.
