We are looking for a skilled & passionate scrum master to help drive the digital transformation of Novo Nordisk. You will be part of the QC Connectivity project that develops and implements solutions to connect QC Labs equipment to GlobalLIMS system.
You will mainly be working in Bagsværd, Denmark, but we are a global team of more than 900 dedicated people located in Denmark and across the globe, responsible for IT systems, services, and platforms for our production sites in Novo Nordisk. We work in a truly global organisation based on agile principles and continuously strive to improve our ways of working.
The position
In Novo Nordisk we are on an exciting journey to expand our production capacity and you will part of an agile team working connecting QC Labs equipment to globalLIMs. You will work closely together with our agile teams, Line of Business and other stakeholders. You will collaborate with and support the Product Owner in developing, maintaining, and prioritising the roadmap of serialisation IT projects activities as well as balancing risks, timelines and resources.
As a Scrum Master, you will become responsible for facilitating, coaching and supporting one or more of our agile delivery teams and will be working both independently and in close collaboration with first and foremost the Product Owner but also our Business Owners, technical architects and team members. If you enjoy interacting with people, guiding your team in an inclusive and coaching manner, you are probably a good candidate for the position. The project consists of approx. 30 team members both onsite and remote with different level of seniority and profiles

We are looking for an ambitious and proactive person with a proven track record in the following skills & experiences:
It will be considered an advantage if you have experience with the SAFe Agile framework. Ideally, you have experience with the supply chain processes and can bring that experience to Novo Nordisk, but it is not a requirement.
You are motivated by challenging assignments, you absorb new knowledge quickly, and you are always open for developing new competencies. As you have good interpersonal skills in being able to guide and challenge your colleagues in the line of business, when needed.
About the department
LABS is a part of Digital, Data & IT – Product Supply organisation. In LABS you will be part of a highly engaged department working with IT systems for Product Supply, developing and improving systems which are core to the laboratory processes in Novo Nordisk. You will be working with a team of colleagues both in DK and India, and you will have ample opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges in your daily work. Furthermore, LABs is involved in projects with Product Supply, working closely together to ensure that business processes are adequately supported by IT systems as well as supporting Novo Nordisk on the QC 4.0 journey towards paperless labs.

Your main responsibilities as our new Scrum Master will be:
- You will keep track of and help solve impediments, escalate if necessary and help the team manage their progress via transparent backlog and board overviews.
- You will help the team and other roles prepare and align expectations before and during events.
- You will be an ambassador of agile way of working incl. working in Azure DevOps
- You will drive the continuous improvement in the team, creating a learning environment, and ensuring learnings are shared with other agile teams and Novo Nordisk’s agile transformation office.
- You will ensure that the agile team is equipped with the right knowledge, tools and training to reach the teams’ maximum potential. You will also ensure that our leadership embraces the agile methods
Qualifications
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive person with a proven track record in the following skills & experiences:
- You have a Master’s Degree (MSc) in computer science, engineering, chemistry, biology or other relevant fields
- You have two years of experience as a Scrum Master or from an agile delivery team
- You have a good comprehension of IT and experience with IT infrastructure, and potentially worked on IT projects within the pharma industry. It is a plus if you have worked with Novo Nordisk especially within Product Supply business area
- The project is using Azure DevOps tool therefore it is requirement to have experience with the tool
- You have strong people management skills
- You have a proven track record of delivering business value, scope, schedule and cost
- Strong change management and communication skills and a cross-cultural mindset
- Fluency in written and spoken English are essential
