The position
As a Vendor Partner you are responsible for various activities, both operational and strategic, related to vendor management. You will be in the centre of these many activities and be part of an organisation that is highly visible and critical to Novo Nordisk. As a result, you can expect a dynamic, project-focused community where the pace is high and ambitions even higher. More specifically our next Vendor Partner will among many areas and tasks be responsible for the following :
Furthermore, you are expected to coordinate people and projects by ensuring that our teams get the best consultants and coordination that they are hired in due time. You will also coordinate and collect overall programme roadmaps to ensure we have a long-term perspective of consultant needs, and CV screening.
Support new consultants in getting the best start as possible (e.g., guide them to trainings, best practices, allocating buddies etc.). Process improvement and Vendor management: improving the way we work with Vendors. This position requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
As a person you are friendly, ambitious, service minded, result driven, proactive and have an open and flexible attitude. You are known to get the job done and are open to adapt to changes around you. It is evident that you have a proven track record of delivering results and business value in your previous jobs.

The department, MES Agile Programme, anchored in Manufacturing IT, has experienced immense growth over the past two years. We are now looking for a Vendor Partner to strengthen and drive our vendor management setup, which is a strategic important area to support our global commitments.
Overall, you will join the rapidly evolving and growing Manufacturing IT area, where over 800 employees are working across the globe to revolutionise IT across our production and supply chain domain in Novo Nordisk

The position
As a Vendor Partner you are responsible for various activities, both operational and strategic, related to vendor management. More specifically our next Vendor Partner will among many areas and tasks be responsible for the following :
- Vendor strategy and relationship management with multiple international vendors
- Operational sourcing of external consultants from vendors into our departments
- End-to-end management of contracts, purchase orders, contract renewals and contract negotiations
- Onboarding of new consultants and performance evaluation of external consultants in the area
- Administrative tasks, such as creating work orders, keeping data up-to-date and ensuring transparency in which consultant is allocated to what project.
- Keep overview of framework agreements and cost spend

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience with sourcing and vendor management
- Interest in managing a variation of operational, admin and strategic tasks
- Strong coordination skills, including ability to follow up and ensure progress
- Understanding of basic invoicing and financial principles
