The position
As an Operational Leadership Partner, you’ll be the fifth member of a small but powerful team of experienced leadership coaches.

About the department
Novo Nordisk is currently experiencing tremendous growth. In the years to come we will see the needs of our patients rise as well as an increased diversification of our product pipeline. This development calls for new ways of working, the ability to manage business ambiguity and to develop our business while we run it. Striking this balance requires great, practical leadership as well as a strong pipeline of emerging Novo Nordisk leaders. Ultimately, building strong leaders of today and tomorrow is what we do in Business Partnering Operational Leadership.
Our team covers many years of experience with leadership in various forms from inside and outside of Novo Nordisk. Though we are a team we don’t spend a lot of time at our own desks with each other as we primarily create value by spending our time with the leaders in the line of business. Whilst we seek to make an impact on behalf of the leaders we work with, we as people we are informal and down to earth. However, you will have plenty of opportunities to make your mark on our culture and how we work.

Operational Leadership Partner
The position
As an Operational Leadership Partner, you’ll be the fifth member of a small but powerful team of experienced leadership coaches.
Working closely with leaders from across our business, you’ll be:
- Consulting with EVP areas and their associated HR Business Partners.
- Helping our leaders identify and develop leadership talent and help them build strong teams through sparring, coaching and open dialogue.
- Supporting our leaders in strengthening their leadership competencies by gauging what works well and what needs improvement, working smarter and taking the right decisions quickly.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you should:
- Be a seasoned leader with significant practical leadership experience and have knowledge of how to navigate a large matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders.
- Have solid business acumen and in-depth understanding of the human aspects of leadership.
- Possess a leadership consultancy toolbox that is deep and contains great, yet simple and effective methods, and have a keen eye for identifying and developing leadership talent.
- Be fluent in both Danish and English (written and verbal).
- Hold a relevant academic degree although not essential as in this position we place more value on applied experience.
