Do you have substantial experience within health and safety processes and risk assessments and a wish to use your skills to support a large, global and fast expanding organisation? Then you might be one of the two new Health and Safety Professionals we are looking for in Novo Nordisk Health & Safety!
The job
In this job, you will support Novo Nordisk in our global continuous improvement journey on health and safety. You will do that by providing direct support to line of business and by building and implementing processes and tools. More specifically you will work in small, dedicated teams to e.g.:
Moreover, you will use your experience to support other health and safety related initiatives within e.g. chemical management, road safety, construction safety or behavioural safety.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree within Engineering or similar backed by 5+ years of relevant experience within health and safety, preferably from the pharmaceutical or chemical industry. You have experience in performing health and safety risk assessments and proposing practical solutions. You are familiar with ISO45001 and with international health and safety regulations and standards.
As a person, you are structured and able to take ownership of a task from planning through execution to follow-up, but you also enjoy working in teams towards a common goal. You can communicate complex issues in a simple way, no matter if the target group is senior management or shopfloor employees. You are outgoing and build good relations with colleagues and stakeholders.
English is our corporate language, and hence it is a prerequisite that you speak and write English fluently.

The department is Novo Nordisk's Centre of Excellence in the field of health and safety with around 30 dedicated colleagues. Our role is to safeguard employee safety, health and well-being as an integrated part of how Novo Nordisk do business. We do that by providing targeted support and easy-to-use tools and guidance.

The job
In this job, you will support Novo Nordisk in our global continuous improvement journey on health and safety. You will do that by providing direct support to line of business and by building and implementing processes and tools. More specifically you will work in small, dedicated teams to e.g.:
- Roll-out a global work permit process and system.
- Provide helpline support to line of business in general and direct support to capacity expansion projects.
- Create and maintain health and safety standards for selected production processes.
- Contribute to maintenance of our ISO 45001 certified management system as process responsible for e.g. Management of Change and/or as internal auditor.
