The position As an IT Business Analyst, you will be a part of a team within responsibility for defining, building and operating a platform for performance and availability monitoring of IT infrastructure and business critical applications.
You will be working both independently and in close collaboration with the other operational teams for several IT technologies as well as our stakeholders globally.
Furthermore, you will;
• Stay ahead on industry trends and assess new monitoring products and technologies
• Evaluate feasibility of concepts and services from vendors and adapt to Novo Nordisk usage globally
• Handle incidents and perform continuous improvement ensuring stability, availability, and resilience of our IT landscape.
• Have daily contact with Production facilities on upcoming maintenance
• Support the growth of Novo Nordisk The successful candidate will have opportunity to work from either Søborg or Kalundborg, with flexibility to work from home part of the time.
Qualifications
• Bachelor (BSc.) or master’s degree (MSc.) in Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant fields
• Previous experience within the field, or newly graduated eager to work with all the knowledge acquired during studies
• Knowledge within IT management processes
• Understanding of infrastructure, operations domain area, other IT technologies (e.g. covering networks, servers, platforms, applications, etc.)
• Programming skills/interests in one or multiple languages (e.g. Power Shell or Python)
• Operations of virtual environments (Cloud/ on-premise, Automatisation)
• Microsoft Systems Center Operation Manager (e.g. SquaredUp and SCOM) About the department
The position is based in Global IT Operations - an area with 200+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services. The team consists of highly qualified Information Technology Engineers, Technicians and IT-Architects who are responsible for IT infrastructure in Product Supply. Our team is working in close co-operation with Novo Nordisk in Bangalore, India, and external vendors. We have a strong focus on collaboration, we are curious, and we are embracing new ideas on how to deliver projects successfully. We are on a journey applying agile ways of working in our organisation, and our IT projects will be delivered according to the SAFE framework with agile teams running sprints/iterations.
