Do you want to make an impact and link strategy to execution in a Global Pharmaceutical company? Data, Digital and IT Project Execution in Novo Nordisk are seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager with experience and a general technical understanding of the fundamental capabilities across a large DD&IT organisation, combined with generic management consultancy skills.
We are looking for a profile with a proven track record of working with portfolio management and even in an agile context.The role is anchored in DD&IT Staffs. Our primary mission is to enable the workforce, through digital staffs solutions, to achieve efficiency, compliance and excellent employee experience.
DD&IT Staffs consist of an IT portfolio across HR, Finance, Quality and Facilities, and Project Execution goes across all of the above. The internal IT systems in Novo Nordisk support our 50,000 colleagues globally and our 5,000 managers.Core Responsibilities
As the role is anchored in DD&IT Project Execution, you will enable our Portfolios to deliver value alongside the Line of Business, using agile principles to facilitate and drive this portfolio.As part of this responsibility, you will:
• Establish, build and lead DD&IT Staff Portfolio Management CoE and related processes.
• Guide and support Line of Business and IT practitioners in work refinement.
• Actively support business development.
• Actively engage in further building and expanding lean and agile portfolio management principles across DD&IT Staffs/DD&IT and Novo Nordisk A/S.
• Continuously maintain lean governance principles across portfolios.Additional areas of responsibility:
You will work closely with the Business Development Partner to ensure the portfolio is linked to the relevant strategies, incl. driving analysis and recommendations. Furthermore
• LoB and DD&IT Staffs business/organisational developmentT Strategy
• Vendor assessment and market screening
• Establish the portfolio vision with key stakeholders in DD&IT Staffs
• Secure ongoing flow in the portfolio Kanban
• Follow-up on strategy execution and progress through Objectives and Key Results,
• Build pragmatic and value-adding reporting and communication to governing bodies.Competencies on our radar
We are open to various educational backgrounds as long as you have the right learning approach, the right skill set to develop further and a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a relevant subject area.
To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
• Have solid experience with program- and portfolio management or relevant.
• Have business/strategy development experience from management consultancy.
• Have a technical understanding of an IT organisation and can navigate within and across technical domains.
• Experience working in a SAFe environment (Preferably certified as Lean Portfolio Manager, but this is not a requirement).
• Get energized by developing and leading the newly established CoE and thrive, tying together the loose ends that comes with a new working area

• Are analytical and have a holistic approach to People, IT and processes
• Can create followership and involvement
• Have excellent collaboration skills and can navigate/facilitate in a diverse and senior stakeholder landscape
