In our team, you’ll have the opportunity to put your sharp skills to use! Come and join us as Mechanical Engineer in supporting operations across the network in Injectable Finished Products (IFP) based in Bagsværd.
The position
As Mechanical Engineer, you will be welcomed into a team of 6 within the Ramp-up and Technical Excellence department, where you will be working together with equipment responsible, taking preventive actions as well as driving improvement initiatives and optimisations across the filling production. You will join the journey of ramp up, increasing the capacity of our filling production lines to support the sites globally! Together with the local site, you will be responsible for: Ensuring the stability of our production equipment across Novo Nordisk global sites Implement improvements initiatives Develop skilled workers and technicians’ knowledge Systematic problem solving, drive optimal performance of the filling equipment’s and define strategy for reliable line setup. Completing documentation utilising a high level of detail. You will work together with many people in the network and can expect to collaborate with many different stakeholders at different levels a across the organisation. As this position has a global scope collaborating with the sites in US, Brazil, China and France, you will have the opportunity to travel for the position. Qualifications Your experiences include: An academic degree within mechanical engineering or similar. You may have a background as a technician/craftsman and have an experience in how parts are manufactured. You understand how mechanical adjustments, alignments, dimensioning and tolerances can influence manufacturing process and have an experience using this knowledge to improve performance. Filling experience preferably within pharmaceutical manufacturing process. However, any experience with GMP or working in a highly regulated environment such as the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, food industry, precision mechanics or aviation will be considered. It is advantageous if you have experience with isolators. As a person, you have a focus on quality, have a problem-solving approach and the drive to create new solutions for technical challenges. You are able to use excellent communication skills to build relations cross functionally and globally. For this position, you are required to be fluent in spoken and written English.

The team's mission is to minimise or eliminate human interaction with our injectable products through optimisation, robotics and automation. You will work together with specialist, academics, technicians and external development partners covering a wide range of disciplines. We guarantee that you will be exposed to exciting challenges and development opportunities, and we are also focusing on a very strongly and comprehensive on-boarding.
