The position
As Project Controls Manager, you will have a leading position in setting the direction, providing guidance, overseeing continuous development, and sharing best practices across projects within Injectable Finished Products (IFP). Through providing guidance on project controls across the sites, you will be a leader, sparring with stakeholders at all levels, sharing lessons learned, planning and risk and change management.
You will be involved in establishing project standards to drive simplicity and innovation in capital projects and have a key role in developing and establishing project controls framework and standards that will enable successful project execution and deliveries.
Other responsibilities include: Supporting projects on how to set up a project controls function prior to the execution phase. Advising major capital projects throughout the project lifecycle. Driving strategic initiatives related to project execution across IFP units by facilitating network activities, conducting lessons learned, project assessment and training in selected project controls discipline. Being subject matter expert towards IFP Project Management Offices, Project Managers and Project Controls in IFP units. Engage with Project Controls peers outside IFP to ensure alignment and best practices sharing.
You will have the opportunity to join a multicultural team in the largest production division in Novo Nordisk and will work in close collaboration with senior colleagues and stakeholders driving project controls
Qualification
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have: A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or other relevant academic degree. Established experience within project controls or project management experience on major capital projects preferably in all phases of the project lifecycle. Strong knowledge of project controls disciplines (e.g., cost, change and risk management, together with planning and scheduling expertise). Experience with project management systems such as Aconex, Primavera/Microsoft Projects, Project Information Management System (PIMS) or similar IT systems is considered a top advantage as well as certification in Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or similar. Experience from pharmaceutical industry or similar large-scale project is an advantage.
As a person you can work independently, build, and maintain relationships and to quickly see and address problems. As you are well-organized and have a structured approach to your work, you can juggle several tasks while prioritising your efforts optimally. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex matters with simplicity.

IFP Business Development is a part of Business Support, located in the Bagsværd - an international and high-performing department, consisting of around 40 people from approx. 10 countries. IFP Business Development is responsible for developing, optimising, and expanding the global production network of production lines across the 7 international production sites in the production unit called IFP.
