The job In this exciting opportunity you will be a part of the newly established UX & Innovation team primarily based in Bagsværd, Denmark. Your focus will be to cover all aspects of UX research - from planning and scoping research activities to conducting research using a variety of methods and finally generating and communicating insights in compelling ways. The position is newly created so you will have great influence on your job, our workflow, and our team spirit. Your main responsible will be:
  • Be the UX Researcher in digital projects across the manufacturing processes in Product Supply (PS) designing for our main users; Novo Nordisk employees.
  • Plan, drive and conduct the research needed for ensuring we address the pains and problems of our end users
  • Challenge the status quo and help various project teams practice a more user-centric approach to product/platform development
  • Take the lead on defining problems and finding opportunities for user research across the organization.
  • Assess, challenge, and validate ideas and prospects on digitalisation from Business Owners (BO) and other stakeholders through research and insights.
  • Building empathy with our users to agile teams, creating personas, user journeys and other relevant artefacts
  • Continuously build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders.
    • You will work on various projects and will collaborate with cross-functional teams which will give you the chance to influence decision-making by being a strategic partner. You will play an active role in ensuring the digitalisation of Product Supply, Quality, and IT in Novo Nordisk (PSQIT). Qualifications We are looking for a proactive and curious colleague who is strong in building relations on trust. You curious and driven to achieve first class results as well as organized and structured with high quality standards and the ability to spot new opportunities as well as challenge status quo. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in most of the following skills and experiences:
  • You hold a degree within human behaviour related research
  • +3 years of experience within the field of research
  • You have experience with driving all aspects of research activities: Planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research
  • You have a broad knowledge of qualitative research methodologies and the proven ability to execute the right methodology to get the needed result.
  • You are experienced in generating and communicating actionable insights to teams of designers, product managers, developers, engineers, and architects
  • You have experience collaborating effectively with stakeholders in cross-functional teams and can act as a strategic partner in product decisions
  • Proficient in presenting ideas and solutions in a convincing and easy-to-understand manner to different profiles influencing your audience to focus on user needs
  • Speaks and writes English fluently
    • You are a team player used to work closely together with other disciplines, such as developers, management, products owners/manager and business analysts. The department You will join the Product Supply Manufacturing Intelligence area (PS MI) in Bagsværd, Denmark. We are more than 45 digital experts collaborating and co-creating with deep knowledge colleagues in the Novo Nordisk’s Manufacturing processes. We are working across SVP areas and supports the entire global network of manufacturing sites in product supply. The area is divided in four departments with the main capabilities of: Data science, UX & Innovation, Programme Management and Development. The UX & Innovation department is responsible designing and developing innovative and value adding digital solutions used by people working at Novo Nordisk’s Manufacturing sites. The team is responsible for driving the development and implementation of good design practices and best practices, including discovery, ideation, conceptualizing, detailed design, prototypes and validation frameworks (from idea to proof of value) and implement activities such as user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing and visual communication in PSMI Working at Novo Nordisk At Novo Nordisk, we don't wait for change.
