The team waiting for you
The position is based in Production Infrastructure which is a department in GITO.
GITO is an area with 400+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations, global service desk and digital workplace services. Besides, GITO is a global organisation, therefore many of our meeting are conducted virtually and across many time zones. We offer flexible working location and hours so you can expect to be working both from home and in the office.
Production Infrastructure is a team of 130 highly skilled and dedicated employees working to continue the agile journey to ensure an efficient delivery engine across GITO. As a department, we have a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration, just as we are embracing new ideas on how to successfully introduce new ways of working and high employee engagement.
What’s behind the title?
As our new People Leader, you will contribute to the great working culture and engaging people development of Novo Nordisk. The position as People Leader will lead appr. 20 experienced IT Architects and IT Specialists who are all working day-to-day in their respective Scrum teams.

Your focus will be on leading our employees by coaching and developing their competencies according to the long-term strategic competence needs of the area. You are responsible for ensuring high team engagement. You set direction and clearly communicate current and future priorities.

In the role as People Leader in an agile context, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Building personal and professional competencies as well as reward and performance management
  • People career development and motivation including coaching and mentoring
  • Facilitate cross-organisational knowledge sharing
  • Employee budgeting and support transformation initiatives
  • Close collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum Masters about the agile teams
  • Recruitment and onboarding of employees and external consultants
  • Furthermore, you will contribute to the strategic direction of Production Infrastructure as well as drive improvement initiatives. You will facilitate, mobilise, and involve the right stakeholders at the right level and engage with Line of Business where needed.
    Qualifications
    To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • An academic background in a relevant field e.g. Business, IT, Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5+ years of leadership experience from a similar role
  • Experience in navigating into large organisations
  • Advanced knowledge and coaching skills
  • Experience supporting a transformation through personal advocacy, engagement, and leadership
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • On a personal level you have an inclusive mindset and have a focus on diversity. You are using your empathy to ensure a sustainable work environment, building trust, motivating teams and accelerate people development.
