The position
As Corporate Counsel for Product Supply (PS), you will pursue innovative approaches to handling challenging legal issues, incl. forming strategies and ensuring execution in close collaboration with internal and external partners.
The potential impact of your work is large, given that you will:
• Work on cases that are broad in scope and complexity, identifying critical legal issues and strategic business options.
• Have a key role in supporting the business by ensuring successful outcomes in high-impact contract negotiations, incl. sourcing of raw material and services for production, procurement of equipment, device and drug manufacturing, and distribution of our products.
• Collaborate with, and influence, senior stakeholders.
• Work closely with our Global Legal and other colleagues across the world, leveraging all relevant competencies.
• Drive ad hoc projects and activities focused on optimising the way we work, e.g. within ensuring optimal contracting setup, external counsel management, offshoring to our contracting CoE in India, knowledge sharing and training.
Your responsibilities will include being the legal partner to Investment, Engineering & Sourcing – an area responsible for procurement of production related equipment, works and services; representing DKK billions in spend and more than 1,200 suppliers worldwide.
Qualifications
You hold a relevant master’s degree in Law, have minimum 3 years of post-graduation experience, and have a strong track record as legal counsel at a law firm or in an internationally oriented company.

About the department
Global Legal is responsible for managing legal risks and opportunities in Novo Nordisk and for driving the Global Legal strategy. With 300+ colleagues globally, the Global Legal function reports to the CFO of Novo Nordisk.
The Pharma Law team provides legal advice across the value chain, ranging from clinical & commercial to product supply. You will be part of an ambitious and dynamic team consisting of 15+ employees in our corporate headquarters in Bagsvaerd, Denmark.
Our global PS organisation consists of more than 17,000+ employees located at 17 production sites worldwide. PS supplies products for all Novo Nordisk’s therapeutic areas.
