The role and its responsibilities As our new IT Project Director, you will be responsible for all IT deliveries within this project and for ensuring that the high risk, business critical and GxP validated program/project successfully through, reaching global stakeholders and impacting IT solutions across business and geographical areas. You will be partnering up with the Business Project Director and collaborate closely to secure a successful project, from initiation, implementation to completion.
This includes but is not limited to:
  • Converting Information Technology strategy into reality through execution of high priority, complex projects

  • Using appropriate tools and techniques to successfully manage projects according to the triple constraints of scope, timeline and budget while fulfilling quality requirements and managing risks

  • Managing and leading it project members, vendors and stakeholders so that stated project objectives, benefits and solution requirements are met

  • Overall, the IT Project Director should be able to balance technical expertise with project management skills and be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across organizational levels and functions to achieve project/programme success. Furthermore, he/she is directly engaging 1:1 with top/senior level management from both NN affiliates and vendors.
    The position is based in Bagsværd and reports directly to Vice President and Head of HR DD&IT Maria Beckmann.
    Do you have what it takes? We are looking for a colleague that possess in-depth knowledge from all relevant aspects of IT project management and has a substantial, successful proven track record – preferably within regulated environments to effectively manage the implementation of ISO standards within the organisation, ensure compliance with regulations and safeguard sensitive data and critical business processes.
    Following hard competencies are preferred:
  • Academic background in a relevant field such as Business, IT, Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science.

  • Several years of experience from a regulated industry, plus knowledge of regulated system management. Understanding of GxP is a prerequisite.

  • Previous experience with Learning Management System (LMS) implementation, HR systems, Quality Management System (QMS) systems would be a strong advantage.

  • Experience from pharma industry would be a nice to have, but not a must.

  • Ability to support transformational activities and changes through personal advocacy, engagement, and leadership

  • Proactive and visible project/programme management style.

  • As a person, you possess strong communication skills and can mobilize and involve the right stakeholders at the right level. You have an inclusive mindset and a focus on diversity. You use your empathy and people skills to ensure a sustainable work environment, build trust, and motivate stakeholders.
    About the department In HR DD&IT, we develop and implement world class HR IT systems together with P&O to ensure that we ignite the digital change for Novo Nordisk’s employees, achieving efficiency, compliance, and excellent employee experience. HR DD&IT is anchored within DD&IT and team members are placed closely to P&O team members for optimal collaboration. We work according to the SAFE Agile methodology and ways of working to efficiently support P&O’s digitalisation journey. The atmosphere is informal and friendly, and the organisation consists of ambitious, curious, and skilled employees who complement and challenge each other to deliver their best.
    HR DD&IT is a global team that includes approximately 90 colleagues based in Denmark, India, and the USA.
