How do we use LEAN tools to improve the business, and how do we best work with LEAN outside a traditional production set-up? This is a newly established position to strengthen LEAN in GCM. You will work together with the Corporate Vice President (CVP) LEAN Partner, who leads the effort of maturing LEAN in GCM. The production shopfloor is placed at our Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) around the world. You will primarily be working with GCM’s oversight processes which ensure that the products we receive from our CMOs are suitable for Novo Nordisk. The oversight processes are office based, meaning that our production is taking place at our Global CMOs – and not on-site. As LEAN Business Partner, your main focus include: Applying LEAN principles and tools to the officed based processes to help us perform oversight effectively and efficiently Detailing and driving improvements to completion as well as securing tangible benefits to the organisation in areas identified in a recent LEAN maturity assessment Being a key player in identifying the next opportunities for improving and maturing LEAN in GCM To collaborate closely with our digital team integrating LEAN and digitalisation as levers for optimisation of our business as we aim to streamline much of our work using digital solutions within GCM. In this position, you will have a strong business impact and be on a steep learning curve. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to: Have a previous experience working with LEAN optimisation from a production, production-like environment or from working with Lean in the office Be familiar with production or manufacturing in a regulated industry Possess excellent communication and stakeholder’ management skills that allow you to engage and proactively advise stakeholders at all levels within the organisation Excellent facilitation, analytical and visualisation skills Be fluent in English both written and spoken. As a person, you are passionate about LEAN and driving the LEAN mindset in an organisation. You thrive in working in challenging environment and are willing to try and challenge the status quo. You can adapt easily to new business settings. Last but not least, you have a strategic mindset and enjoy setting up continuous improvement tools on a long term. About the department The position is in GCM Strategy and Business Development (S&BD) - a diverse department of 20 people. In S&BD we are responsible for driving cross functional strategic priorities and support across GCM within Strategy deployment, finance, LEAN, Analytics and Digitialisation, Training and Quality and Portfolio Management. You will join a team of fun and dedicated colleagues who come together to set direction and support GCM through its rapid journey of growth, GCM manages outsourced production from project to operations stage. We are office based with shopfloors at CMOs on global scale. Collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally is crucial in order for us to succeed.
