Then we invite you to apply for the role as Corporate Vice President, People & Organisation (P&O) The role is anchored in the largest part of Novo Nordisk’s organisation called Product Supply, Quality and IT (PSQIT). PSQIT is a modern technology organisation that proactively drives the purpose of Novo Nordisk and delivers the highest quality to patients in a sustainable and efficient way. The area consist of approximately 30.000 employees and covers the entire supply chain, our global quality organisation and our global IT organisation. With major expansion projects, rapid FTE growth and several new business areas in PSQIT, a strong support and focus from P&O is needed to succeed with the organisation-wide transformation. P&O is playing a central role for ensuring scalability of our products, a reliable supply chain to the markets and a strong partner to early innovation. We need a mindset that is fostering sustainability, modern take and proactivity. In this newly created role, you will be leading an organisation of 200 HR colleagues worldwide, and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our HR strategy to support our ambitious business goals. Furthermore you will act as trusted advisor and HR Business Partner for the Executive Vice President who is heading up the entire PSQIT organisation. You will report to the Senior Vice President of People & Organisation Business Partnering. The role contains five main focus areas:
  • Organisational Development and Effectiveness – Continuously reviews, assesses, and evolves the business to drive organisational efficiency, scalability, and agility
  • Culture and Engagement – Shapes and fosters and engaging, diverse and inclusive employee environment
  • Change Management – Accelerates the process and transition of change in parallel with the adoption of future skillsets, mindsets, and behaviours
  • Talent Management and Development – Builds leadership capabilities and plans to address future needs; creates opportunities for talent to reach their full potential
  • Workforce Management – Facilitates systematic processes to understand and inform future workforce needs; identifies gaps and develops plans to address, invest and optimize resources
  • Qualifications : You bring proven experience as a senior leader in a global organisation. You will preferably bring experience from an industry characterised by a strong manufacturing environment, high complexity and change. Furthermore, we expect you to have experience with delivering outcome to the business and managing and implementing change. Your ability to think strategically enables you to translate business into HR activities, based on a thorough understanding of challenges and future outlook, across multiple and geographically dispersed units. You are able to remove people and organisation related roadblocks ensuring strong support to business strategy execution. You are independent and a pragmatic executor with a solution-oriented mindset. You have high integrity, which allows you to offer your perspective respectfully. It is natural for you to bridge opinions by demonstrating good cultural understanding and solid stakeholder management ensuring good collaboration at all organisational levels.
