The position
The Vice President, Regional Service Centre EMEA, Global P&O Services (GPOS) will report to our Corporate Vice President, GPOS, Stine Adrian Moller, and be member of the GPOS leadership team. You will be responsible for driving an effective and engaged service delivery organisation and for ensuring delivery of high-quality HR services to all units within the EMEA geography. This unit provides services to +33,700 employees and supports 9 countries. You will be responsible for ensuring strong collaboration with other areas of Global P&O and with key customers and stakeholders. You will shape and lead a team of 94 colleagues (primarily located in Service Centres in Bagsværd, Denmark and in Warsaw, Poland) and your 5 direct reports will consist of Head of AskHR EMEA, Head of Payroll, Development and Ops EMEA, Head of Payroll and Benefits Ops EMEA, cLean Specialist and a Personal Assistant. By end 2023 we are expected to be approximately 100 colleagues in the area. We envision that, as much as you like a people leadership role, a strategic part of a leadership role, we also think that rolling up sleeves, being on shop floor, getting things done - walk the talk, is in your mindset. The position will be based in Denmark and some travelling will be required. Qualifications Min. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred 10-15 years’ experience leading operational teams and experience from working in different areas of the HR organization, and execution in a client care, customer service centre, or call centre International working experience and experienced leading cross functional teams, successfully forecasting and consistently communicating with internal stakeholders Excellent understanding of core HR processes and HR service delivery models, Operational Excellence and Lean mentality Experience within HR IT tools / HR digitalisation as well as process optimisation and lean tools is an advantage A senior leader who drives engagement, focus on people development, and creating trusting environments Excellent communicator and presenter with good cultural understand. International working experience, extensive cross organizational network experience, and global mindset Ability to challenge and influence decision making at all organisational levels. Excellent negotiation skills Fluent in English in speaking and writing About Global P&O Operational Services (GPOS) GPOS division in Novo Nordisk is responsible for efficiently managing day-to-day P&O (People & Organisation) tasks, processes, and transactions within Novo Nordisk. This includes responsibilities such as handling people inquiries, issuing employment documents, management of employee data, managing transfers and organizational changes, managing payroll, and finally administering employee benefits.
The GPOS Management team consists of a CVP, a business support team and the heads of the regional shared centers including head of P&O GBS, each based in their respective regions.
