The position
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the Global Data Office - part of the Digital, Data & IT, (DD&IT) Organisation in Novo Nordisk. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving business development efforts with a focus on partnering across lines of businesses to outline and define data strategies and priorities in collaboration with senior business stakeholders that support and align with the overall Novo Nordisk ambitions and directions.
Herein, key areas of focus include:
Collaborate across lines of business to understand key business goals, objectives, and challenges related to data.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across lines of business and DD&IT to identify business opportunities for data-driven solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and outline data strategy priorities that align with Novo Nordisk’s overarching goals and data strategy ambitions.
Coordinate and align efforts to drive and deliver on key objectives outlined as part of a shared Data Must-Win Battle in DD&IT.
Support Portfolio Management activities through definition of key metrics for portfolio prioritisation.
Drive the development of proposals and presentations to discuss and align data-related solutions together with lines of business.
Analyse market trends and competition to identify potential growth areas and opportunities for partnerships.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to make informed recommendations to the organisation.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we imagine you should have:
Master's degree in business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of prior experience in strategy consulting or similar, with a focus on the intersection between business and technology (would be preferred).
Proven track record of successfully developing and managing partnerships that drive business growth.
Strong understanding of data strategies, analytics, and technology trends, with the ability to translate business requirements into value.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with the establishment and facilitation of a value-based portfolio management.

With the objective of ‘unlocking the full power of data’, we are a central driver of the Global Data Strategy to enable lines of business generate new value through the intelligent and creative use of a connected data landscape. Global Data Office designs and builds the mindsets, governance frameworks, data enablement solutions and procedures needed to implement these breakthrough opportunities throughout our organisation. We’re situated in Bagsværd, Denmark as a centralised function established to facilitate and support Novo Nordisk’s digital transformation across lines of business.
