The position As a Finance Partner, we look to find a person early in their career, to be lead for the financial consolidation at Contract manufacturing & Sourcing, Devices and Sustainability (CSDS) level, a collective term for nine underlying business areas, being part of a global organisation responsible for a broad and diverse set of responsibilities within Product Supply in Novo Nordisk. You will be involved in execution of core financial processes in our annual wheel and other activities around financial management and digital finance. All in all, it is a position offering you the chance to get a unique view of CSDS, with plenty of exciting opportunities to make an impact, where you will help ensure strong financial tracking and are ensured development of your Financial Planning & Analysis capabilities. As a Finance Partner, your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and leading budget update processes, hereunder guiding a group of experienced finance partners, ensuring that we are transparent and have house in order
  • Senior stakeholder management, delivering high quality fact-based insights and forecasting to support business decisions and actions
  • Helping operate the annual financial wheel of financial reporting and budgeting for CSDS operating costs
  • Driving competitive value creation by linking finance activities to business priorities, and ensuring connection between business plans, activities, and optimal resource allocation, delivering trusted finance business partnering to support decision making
  • Continuously improve productivity by optimizing and visualizing financial insights and processes through digital finance and improving ways of working
    • Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, you possess:
  • Master’s degree within Finance, Economics or Accounting (cand.merc., cand.oecon., cand.polit or similar) with a few years of working experience within finance areas
  • Good understanding of financial management and controlling, as well as experience within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is an advantage
  • Experience with BI tools (tableau, PowerBI etc.) as well as SAP is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite, but an appetite to explore and work with these
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential
  • Proficiency in both oral and written English
  • Good communication and presentation skills

    • About the department You will report into the Finance Manager of the Business Finance team developing and driving financial management within operational costs and manning. We are responsible for the Contract Manufacturing & Sourcing, Devices & Sustainability area across all product portfolios, external contributors and on behalf of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT. This includes sourcing operations, strategic sourcing, manufacturing and development of devices and needles, management of all contract manufacturers and local manufacturing in strategic markets. You will be part of a team of 11 employees and 2 student assistants which value purpose, responsibility and proactiveness.
