The position We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project manager who has appetite and ambition to grow together with the rest of DCS CoE and take project responsibility. This includes project roadmap, budgeting, resource and vendor management, analyses, delivery and stakeholder management. More specifically our next senior project manager, will among many areas and tasks be responsible for the following: IT project management for future DCS Upgrades in Novo Nordisk, including high executive management focus. The primary technology will be DeltaV, provided by Emerson In charge of the project team's leadership, direction, guidance, and coaching Project management and overall responsible for delivering results on-time and with high quality and according to the Novo Nordisk Project Execution Model Stakeholder management, budgeting, and communication towards line of business Coordinate and keep track of product and project roadmaps and act on impediments and potential delays before they occur Coordinate product development wishes between users and our IT development partner We are on an exciting journey in strengthening the distributed control systems (DCS) domain in Novo Nordisk by designing standards and building global DCS capabilities, whilst delivering against our roadmap of systems, at various sites in Novo Nordisk. In this journey, you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in securing production efficiency and speed for the next many years to help Novo Nordisk achieve their strategic goals. Our department, DCS CoE, delivers top critical IT systems in Novo Nordisk to maximise capacity. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading DCS upgrade projects across one or multiple sites, globally, together with your project team of DCS and automation specialists and a line of business team. Qualifications To be successful in this role, we require the following: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, supply chain management or other relevant field 5+ years of strong end-to-end project management skills (including project budgeting, presentation skills, governance, and strong stakeholder management skills) Solid experience with IT project management in a regulated production environment as an engineer, consultant or project manager. Preferably IT/OT, Automation and DeltaV experience Pharma industry knowledge is a clear advantage Experience with production/supply chain processes and/or GxP is also an advantage As a person you are friendly, ambitious, result driven, proactive and have an open and flexible attitude. You are known to get the job done, while keeping a good relationship to stakeholders and colleagues and are open to adapt to changes around you. It is evident that you have a proven track record of delivering results and business value in your previous jobs. About the department The department, DCS CoE is anchored in DD&IT Product Supply Production and is focused on implementing DeltaV / distributed control systems (DCS) – systems used across Novo Nordisk production sites. We help setting the strategic direction and ensure that production sites are able to leverage DCS across Novo Nordisk, including standards and services to optimise resources and processes. We are located in our new office in Ballerup (Greater Copenhagen area), Denmark and work hand-in-hand with our Product Supply colleagues, meaning that you will get to work closely with the users and technologies that drive our global manufacturing processes to the next level. The team itself is very diverse both in terms of capabilities and background, with roles spanning from project managers, product managers, automation specialists and validation specialists.
