The position
In Operations & Staffs Quality (OSQ), we want to make sure that LEAN is more than just a set of tools – but just as much a culture and a mindset that needs to be continuously developed in our organization. In this role, you will be the main driver of the LEAN agenda in OSQ, linking LEAN to our strategy and key priorities. As the new LEAN partner, you will be a part of OSQ’s Business Support team consisting of professionals working with data analysis, training, projects and strategy. Your role will be to support across the Corporate Vice President area by driving, telling, teaching, and coaching our managers and employees in step-by-step changes.
You primary focus will be bringing the lean mindset into our organization and ensuring that the Novo Nordisk LEAN principles are implemented in our area from the start. Other main responsibilities will be to:
• Represent a culture of continuous improvement, and LEAN project management behaviors
• Drive and support strategy implementation and the anchoring of it into daily business activities
• Identify focus areas for process improvements and drive execution
• Use data to drive changes, identify and prioritize the next optimization projects
• Driving relevant optimization projects, focused on shopfloor coaching at all organisational levels and educate our managers and employees in our LEAN standards such as performance boards, systematic problem solving and process confirmation. Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate that is comfortable in engaging and proactively advise stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and are good at motivating people for a change. You possess strong strategic and analytical skills, are persistent by nature and with a “can-do-attitude”.
To be successful in this role you:
• Hold a masters’ degree in engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, business management or project management
• Have proficiency in the LEAN toolbox, supported by several years’ experience in operational excellence within daily operations
• Are fluent in English, while knowledge of Danish will be considered an advantage Your toolbox is equipped with LEAN tools like Hoshin Kanri, Kata coaching, A3, Value stream mapping, Yamazumi, SMED and you have a strong data mind-set.
On a personal level, you are a team player but you also thrive working on your own when you coach and challenge leaders and specialists. You do not back down when someone challenge you and people see you as a front runner, while still embodying leadership in an empathic and respectful way. About the department
OSQ Business support is new established team, that supports the entire CVP area with data, training and LEAN. Our main goal is to support with improvements and optimisations which can benefit all the employees working in Operations (the 80 affiliates in Novo Nordisk) – as well as the Staff areas.
