Apply today as you might be the Lean Specialist we are looking for to roll out our new training system on Lean and follow up with assessments.The positionAs Lean Specialist, you will help us to transform our business and improve performance at scale by coaching and training leaders and employees to the Novo Nordisk approach to continuous improvement.Your main responsibilities include:
  • Driving lean transformations to deliver step-change improvements while developing people and culture
  • Conducting assessments of lean maturity, mapping current performance levels against Novo Nordisk's way of working with lean
  • Delivering trainings on Novo Nordisk's lean methods and tools, such as standardised work, problem solving, continuous improvement, and flow
  • Coaching leaders in lean leadership and mindset.
  • Travelling will be required mainly within Denmark but international travels could also be needed occasionally.QualificationsTo be considered for this position, we expect you to:
  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, project management, manufacturing, business, engineering, or any other relevant field
  • Possess a previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment working as a lean project, project manager, coach, or in a leadership position (e.g. production or factory manager)
  • Be familiar with supply chain or sourcing operation (or a keen interest in learning)
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • It would be considered as a plus if you have previously worked in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, medical devices, aviation, automotive, oil & gas…).As a person, you will have excellent communication and leadership skills which enable you to build effective working relationships and influence others when needed. You will also be able to understand business needs and connect the strategy accordingly. You will enjoy working in a complex and high-paced environment. And finally, you have excellent analytical skills which allow you to identify and measure the efficiency of the changes implemented.About the departmentYou will join Contract Manufacturing & Sourcing & Devices (CSD) which is the senior vice president (SVP) area responsible for Contract Manufacturing & Sourcing, Devices & Sustainability across all product portfolios, external contributors and on behalf of Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT). This includes for example strategic sourcing and sourcing operations, manufacturing and development of devices and needles, management of all contract manufacturers and local manufacturing.You will be part of a small but growing team of 4 lean professionals, centrally located, that worked together to reinforce Lean knowledge and mindset across CSD.Working at Novo NordiskNovo Nordisk is its people.
