The position
As a Senior Development Scientist at Novo Nordisk, you will be the primary scientific lead in the project(s), and you are expected to facilitate frequent stakeholder alignments, plan, and communicate, to ensure that the project(s) maintains momentum. Furthermore, you are expected to be able to carry out initial laboratory studies and lead technology scouting with support from experts both inside and outside the team.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Taking responsibility for 1-2 high-impact projects, ensuring they gain traction within the organization and proceed towards completion
Collaborating and sharing knowledge across Novo Nordisk and with colleagues in the field to continue improving
Travelling for collaboration and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: A relevant scientific background, with at least 4 years of experience in developing custom analytical solutions
Experience running development projects in a large and complex organization
Experience within multivariate data analysis or spectroscopic techniques such as Raman, FTIR, or Fluorescence is considered a plus
Professional proficiency in English

You possess the ability to understand stakeholder needs and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. About the department
The Senior Development Scientist will be joining the Analytical Technology team in the injectable finished products (IFP) area of Novo Nordisk. The team is part of Technology & Innovation, a department in IFP Manufacturing Development located in Bagsværd, Denmark. The team was created in relation to expanding the Novo Nordisk production capabilities and is responsible for designing and developing holistic analytical solutions from the ground up to enable real-time monitoring during production and real-time release testing (RTRT) in the future. The team consists of 15 people, mainly scientists, with a diverse cultural and scientific background. We are an ambitious team who works closely together and seek to elevate each other and those around us, so we can deliver the best solutions for the production of the future.
