The position As our HS Senior Manager, you will lead a team with the objective of drive and strengthen strategy to actions activities, setting direction and supporting innovation for HS projects while maintaining and evolving our global HS Management System and processes. You will be part of our global health and safety management team, engage with key stakeholders across the value chain and have a team of engaged health and safety professionals, partners and project managers. Some of your responsibilities will be to: Lead your team members and develop them, with focus on optimizing existing processes and deliverables towards a simple and agile working culture with successful anchoring in the business. Ensure professional execution of global standardized processes and governance/partnering models, while building the teams outreach as proactive strategic trusted advisors to senior management. Take responsibility for progress in strategic cross-functional projects supporting Project Managers, and ensure scalability of developed solutions and well-tested pilots prior to wider or global roll-out. Oversee internal H&S audit function and planning in accordance with ISO 45001 for manufacturing division, and drive activities to ensure global standardized processes in the overall H&S management system are upheld and evolving with a continuous improvement approach. Evolve HS organization and drive initiatives with agility in sync with business and organizational development. Qualifications Master’s degree, preferably within HR, Psychology, Business Administration or Health. Formal training in change management, communication, and personnel management. Solid management experience (2-3 years) in a similar global corporate company setting, preferably from CoE, as H&S site manager or in HR function.role. Experience within Health & Safety will be highly appreciated, and experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be an advantage. Experience in handling complex decisions where economic and HS considerations must be balanced. As a person, you have Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and spoken in English, with strong abilities in listening, tuning in to stakeholders providing a flexible and welcoming attitude whilst still proving clear direction and choices. Also, you are able to drive initiatives and concept development and make empowerment work, knowing how to prioritise within a broad and complex task portfolio. I t will be required to have knowledge and understanding of different cultures and working styles, to a ccommodate for the collaboration across a global organization. About the Department You will be joining a highly professional and growing team of 50 people in the Novo Nordisk Health & Safety department, reporting to its VP, where you will be leading a team of 10 people. As a Center of Excellence, Novo Nordisk Health & Safety is a full-service hub for health and safety solutions and support to all levels and functions globally. We work through partnering with line of business health and safety organisations, suppliers, and contractors that are in need of our health & safety skills, expertise, and knowledge.
