The position
As a Finance Partner, you will oversee financial planning and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business goals. You will enhance cost transparency, drive optimization initiatives, and collaborate across teams to support efficient decision-making and operations.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be: Drive the budget process (AB, RE, and LE) and ensure monthly budget follow-ups, maintaining compliance with accounting rules. Ensure transparency into the cost base to enable efficient spend management and optimal resource allocation. Facilitate accurate production accounting by overseeing processes such as raw material deviations, production variances, and inventory adjustments. Drive the cost optimization agenda and support management with actionable insights and cost-saving ideas. Foster seamless cooperation between Central Finance, local production teams, procurement, and planning to meet deadlines and enhance efficiency. Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have/be: A degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Proven experience in Controlling or Finance, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is an advantage. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to handle and interpret large datasets accurately. A proactive, independent, and detail-oriented mindset, focusing on continuous improvement and precision. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. Fluency in English; proficiency in Danish is considered a plus. The Business Support department coordinates all activities related to our key Aseptic Factory in Bagsværd (Denmark, Capital Region). You will belong to a dynamic and high performing team reporting into the Manager of Supply Chain, Finance & Procurement. The team is fully dedicated to optimizing the factory performance and enable Novo Nordisk to serve as many patients as possible every day. We strive for excellence and continuous improvement.
