We are currently looking for a new colleague to join LEO’s highly committed Patient Engagement team

To succeed, we invest massively in R&D, as well as approach our mission and vision in partnership with all relevant experts, including disease experience exerts (‘patients’). To that end, we are looking for a new colleague to lead the design and delivery of strategic partnership initiatives, all of which are built in partnership with partners in the patient community, as well as driven and owned by the latter.
In addition our new colleague will also be charged with the responsibility for leading the continued design and implementation of the Patient Engagement team’s performance excellence, as well as for related reporting to internal and external key stakeholders.

Your primary responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Patient Officer and Head of the Patient Engagement you will be accountable for purposefully applying your skills, experience and your ability to enter and measure the value of high impact partnerships in support of LEO Pharma’s 2030 vision, as well as in accordance with the LEO Rare Disease credo ‘Nothing About You Without You’. In specifically, your primary responsibilities will be as follows:
Drive LEO’s contributions to community enabling initiatives, such as the RareDERM initiative, which serve to bridge gaps and pave the way for patient community led advancements, ref to the mission and vision that are shared by patient organizations at large. With reference to the definition of performance excellence, lead the constant improvement of (tracking, measuring and reporting) processes, mechanisms and tools that are applied by the Patient Engagement team, ref to our mission to deliver an integrated approach to organizational performance management that results in the delivery of ever-improving value to patients and LEO both, contributing also to organizational sustainability and improvement overall. You will safeguard and further advance LEO Pharma’s reputation as a trusted and competent partner through your ‘patients first’ and ‘win-win’ mindset, and your research approach that at all times reflect (and set) the highest standards from e.g. a legal and compliance perspective.
Your competencies
You have an academic degree in organizational structure and performance, and experience in applying this in a for-profit and non-for-profit context both. To that end, you have minimum 5 years’ experience in leading the design, implementation and reporting of initiatives that has driven a win-win outcome according to pre-defined KPIs and overall objective(s).
You also know how and when to apply the broad variety of well-established qualitative and quantitative methodologies to measure RoE, RoI and IoR of a given partnership or partnership initiative.
Referring to the mentioned, you have a proven track record of successfully leading, delivering and measuring the impact of your work and that of your teams according to pre-defined KPIs, processes and objectives.
You have a strong drive, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to earn trust from your surroundings through who you are as a human being and a skilled professional.
You have experience in working in a global organization/with multiple cultures and across multiple time zones and hence you are also fluent in oral and written English (the spoken language in the Rare Disease Unit). Finally, you are an expert in making compelling PowerPoint presentations.
10-15% travel activity must be anticipated, as part of this position.
