Additionally, you get the opportunity to make a significant difference for people with serious skin diseases all over the world, provide a strong contribution to the implementation of our 2030 Sustainability Strategy, and enable the achievement of our 2030 climate target to reduce our carbon emissions by 50%. You will report to the Global Head of Sustainability and be based at our headquarters in Ballerup.

Your responsibilities


In this role you will primarily support our sustainability work in meeting our 2030 Climate Target and ESG reporting.

Your key tasks will be:

  • CO2 accounting
    Responsible for implementing quarterly CO2 accounting process, including set up of measurement tools and spreadsheets as required, data collection, analysis and ensuring alignment to key standards. Support efforts to improve scope 3 data quality, through sustainability led projects.

  • ESG metrics
    Support sustainability team with tracking ESG metrics and defining new metrics relevant to the business and aligned with key sustainability standards. Through data collection, setting up data tools as required, data analysis and benchmarking against peers and standards.

  • Sustainability support
    Sustainability project support as required, including assisting with sustainability requests, from customers, tenders, suppliers and reporting platforms.

Your qualifications


We expect you to be currently enrolled in a MSc or PhD program and hold a Bachelors degree within Sciences, Engineering, Maths, Environmental Economics or other technical/economics subject. In addition you should bring:

  • strong analytical skills, ability to work systematically in a fast-paced environment, and good attention to detail
  • competencies with data analysis and experienced used of MS Excel. Experience with CO2 accounting or LCA is an advantage.
  • good communication and presentation skills, and fluency in English.
  • a willingness to learn solution oriented mindset, and enthusiasm for setting up new processes

Global Communication, Public Affairs & Sustainability is responsible for corporate branding, communication, public affairs, and corporate social responsibility. We are helping LEO Pharma achieve its mission of helping people achieve healthy skin by shaping its profile and engaging external stakeholders as well as employees.
The Global Sustainability team is a small dedicated team of specialists working across the business in driving LEO Pharma’s sustainability work globally. We keep a keen eye on future trends and help LEO Pharma and commit to operating in a way that contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
