You will join the Group Financial Reporting & Controlling department, which is in charge of the group consolidation, financial controlling and external financial reporting of all GN entities. Involvement and development
You will drive a revitalization and continuous improvement of our Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) framework to secure effectiveness and efficiency in our processes and controls as this is one of our key priorities in Group Finance. Your key responsibilities will be:

Involvement and development
You will drive a revitalization and continuous improvement of our Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) framework to secure effectiveness and efficiency in our processes and controls as this is one of our key priorities in Group Finance. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Revitalize and continuously improve the ICoFR framework
- Develop the annual ICoFR plan, using an appropriate risk-based methodology, including any risks or control concerns over the achievement of financial reporting objectives identified by finance management team
- Develop and improve policies, manuals, guidelines within the area of ICoFR
- Monitor and evaluate ICoFR performance through our ICoFR management system to ensure that it is functioning as planned and updated as necessary to meet changing risks in operating conditions
- Execute the annual ICoFR plan, including any management requests for special tasks or projects
- Periodically prepare and report the status of the ICoFR plan status and results to be presented to the Audit Committee and management, summarizing the ICoFR status and results of reviews, consulting and monitoring activities
- Develop and maintain technical ICoFR advice and instructions/guidance by staying abreast of emerging trends and successful practices in ICoFR
- Work with line management to constructively challenge and improve established and proposed practices and processes, and foster a culture of co-developing agreed solutions with key stakeholders in GN affiliates
- Provide training and advisory support to line of business relating to the ICoFR framework
- Participation in finance projects like ERP implementation etc. to ensure focus on development of the ICoFR environment
- Coordinate and align ICoFR activities with those of the company’s independent public accountants and partner with other Finance functions

How you qualify
You are solution-oriented and proactive with a great drive for execution. Entering a global organization also requires an open mind including the ability to create a constructive dialogue and collaboration across cultural, professional, and geographical borders, in English. To succeed you must have excellent organizational skills, a positive attitude without losing eye for detail, and you:
- Hold a master’s degree in finance, preferably within business administration & auditing, finance, accounting or similar
- Have solid experience with internal financial control environment, preferably with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting/controlling governance or auditing with an international organization
- Have strong knowledge of concepts related to internal controls
- Have experience with internal control frameworks or tools, concepts and methodology, internal or external audit
- Have a flair for IT systems and applications, and experience with AX/MS Dynamics, Navision and SAP BPC is an advantage
- Speak and write English at a high level
- Are willing to travel 20-30 days annually to visit our foreign subsidiaries
