As a part of this journey, the quality of our financial reporting and control environment is increasingly important. To support this, a lot of changes are required, therefore, we need a new colleague with a strong understanding of internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) and the ambition to drive changes.
Become a strong sparring partner to our global organization
As a Senior Internal Control Advisor, you have a key role in our journey to improve and standardize controls. You will act as a subject matter expert and manage various projects, with focus on our ongoing implementation of SAP S/4 HANA.
You thrive driving changes by finding simple solutions to complex problems together with relevant stakeholders and feel comfortable collecting input and putting forward recommended decisions.
Your primary tasks will be to
- challenge and significantly improve the existing internal control framework
- be a financial risk subject matter expert in our current ERP implementation
- sell the internal controls agenda to the relevant audience across LEO Pharma
- design and implement global controls to support the ICFR
- drive the cultural change and the right behaviour around internal controls
- develop management reporting to support management oversight and facilitate mitigation of de-ficiencies identified
- ad hoc involvement in projects
Qualifications and educational background
You have a degree in auditing (cand. merc. aud. or equivalent) or HD(R) and you have most likely worked as an external auditor. You have a keen interest in business processes and a strong understanding of ICFR combined with hands-on experience within this area, maybe as a consultant. Experience in SAP or ERP implementation or access management is a further advantage.

- have the ability to put structure into your work where you diligently follow up on the tasks within your areas of responsibility
- have the ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects in a changing environment
- possess a unique combination of change-mindset and flexibility on one side, and on the other side a strong focus on standards and consistency
- are an ambitious team player who see and appreciate the challenge in questioning status quo on your way to find the right solution for us as an organization, balancing a variety of interests.
You will be part of a small, young, and ambitious team, located in our headquarter in Ballerup, where you will be reporting to the Head of Financial Risk & Compliance.
