Student Assistant Engineer - for a fast growing and innovative medical device company

Then your next career move may be with Ambu as a part-time Student Assistant in Global Innovation focusing on product and technology development within Anesthesia and Patient Monitoring and Diagnostic (PMD) devices.
In this newly established position, you will be an active contributor in the innovation team and participate in developing performance, functionality, and documentation of Ambu’s products.
You will be part of an effective innovation culture with a tradition for fast completion of projects, which means that there will be a visible link between your results and Ambu’s growth. You will be a member of the Front-end and Technology development, Anesthesia and
Patient monitoring team that focuses on products within Anesthesia, Neurology, Cardiology as well as Emergency Care & Training.
As a student assistant, your focus will be to support anywhere that is needed, hereunder ongoing product- and technology development projects.
Your tasks will vary from week to week, but is likely to include:
The position is aimed at about 8 hours per week, but with flexible planning from week to week, depending on both your and Ambus needs.
Motivated for medical technology development and broad technical understanding
Ideally, you are currently studying a bachelor or master’s degree within the field of biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, material sciences or another relevant technical degree. You have strong technical knowledge and interest, and you may have worked with medical devices before. You are structured and detail-oriented in your work and a fast learner. It will be an advantage to have at least a superficial knowledge of design control. Since you will be assisting on different topics across the team, you are flexible, adaptable and have a strong sense of responsibility towards your work.
As a person, you are curious, highly motivated, and open to new challenges in a fast-passed innovative working environment. You are social and have great interpersonal skills, which makes you thrive in global teams.
Since we are a global organization, you will be involved in cross-cultural collaboration. It is therefore required that you are fluent in English and that you can communicate efficiently in both writing and speech.
