You will be a member of our fast-growing Global Innovation team located at our headquarters in Ballerup. At the same time you will be working closely with colleagues in Germany and Malaysia where we also have development and manufacturing sites. We focus on developing new products and processes that combine several technologies in a new and innovative way.
Your role in the team
In our team we are specialized in Test and Verification of medical devices. As a Test and Verification Engineer, your role is to participate in product development projects from early prototype development to launch of new products. You will be responsible for all stages of test method development for example to measure forces of e.g. friction, torque or tensile strength. It is therefore important that you have the creativity to develop new test setups but also that you have a hands-on approach and like to spend time in the lab.
In the projects, you will contribute with the following:
You will be part of a testing team that handles test within many different technical areas, e.g. electrical, software, image processing and mechanical testing. It is therefore an advantage if you have a willingness to learn about different technical disciplines.
As a natural part of your work, you will also be responsible for documentation according to FDA and ISO standards.

Your role in the team

In the projects, you will contribute with the following:
- Planning the test and verification activities
- Reviewing requirements
- Designing and developing mechanical test methods and test protocols
- Performing both informal and formal tests to evaluate performance both during and after development
- Communicate with your colleagues in Germany, Malaysia and Denmark about how to setup and perform tests
- Report test results and defects
- General coordination with different project stakeholders in Germany, Malaysia and Denmark
- You also need to be prepared to travel approximately 5-10 days per year, primarily to our manufacturing site in Malaysia

As a natural part of your work, you will also be responsible for documentation according to FDA and ISO standards.
Skills you need to contribute
- An engineering degree
- More than three years of experience within test and verification in the medical device industry
- Strong teamwork capabilities and interpersonal skills in dealing with colleagues, both here in Ballerup and also in Germany and Malaysia.
- Great communication skills, to effectively communicate across cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
- You are a good observer and you have flair for spotting details and relating them to a bigger picture.
- You are proactive and driving your work independently, but you also work well in cross functional teams.
- You are confident in communicating and not afraid to voice your opinion.
- You communicate on a high level in English both verbally and in writing

- Experience with statistical methods
