LEO Pharma is recruiting a Senior Patient Engagement Lead to join the Global Medical Affairs team.
Challenges
As Senior Patient Engagement Lead you will be part of a dedicated and highly motivated team of Global Medical Affairs staff tapping in on their expert knowledge within clinical, research and medical affairs experience. Contributing to Global Medical Affairs by leading patient activities in LEO Pharma you will be accountable for planning and executing Patient Engagement (PE) activities across the LEO Pharma innovative portfolio at global level as well as enabling PE activities at regional and local level.
The overall objectives of the role includes:
A good partnership with corresponding functions and cross functional teams in regions and affiliates around the world is pivotal for our success.
Qualifications/Profile
The ideal candidate has a solid background in the pharmaceutical business with experience working with patient engagement activities. In addition your will;
You will report to the Director, Stakeholder Partnership and be based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, greater Copenhagen.

Challenges
As Senior Patient Engagement Lead you will be part of a dedicated and highly motivated team of Global Medical Affairs staff tapping in on their expert knowledge within clinical, research and medical affairs experience. Contributing to Global Medical Affairs by leading patient activities in LEO Pharma you will be accountable for planning and executing Patient Engagement (PE) activities across the LEO Pharma innovative portfolio at global level as well as enabling PE activities at regional and local level.
The overall objectives of the role includes:
- Developing, driving and guiding implementation of the global patient engagement strategy throughout the product lifecycle
- Identifying and purposefully engaging with global patient key opinion leaders (KOLs), and guiding similar activities at regional and local level
- Ensuring that LEO maps and identifies all relevant unmet medical needs for relevant skin diseases by direct interaction with patients, patient relatives, healthcare providers and health caretakers at global level and guiding such activities at regional and local level
- Building and maintaining the necessary capabilities and processes internally to guide Patient Engagement activities across LEO to enable and establish a solid position within current and upcoming therapy areas
- Driving a strong collaboration with both global, regional and local teams in support of patient engagement activities
- Driving the planning, execution and reporting of patient engagement activities across LEO including internal alignment and resource allocation
- Ensuring and planning annual budget
- Securing compliance in interactions with Patient KOLs, Organizations, and individuals at all levels for business continuity
- Developing relevant processes/measures for LEO Pharma patient engagement activities

Qualifications/Profile
The ideal candidate has a solid background in the pharmaceutical business with experience working with patient engagement activities. In addition your will;
- hold a degree in biological sciences,natural sciences/health care field or other relevant field
- Have a strategic mindset and a proven trakc record of sucessfully leading and driving patient insights projects as well as patient-industry alliances
- Have strong Patient Engagement experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Team-player with the ability to work collaborately crossfunctionally - establishig positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
- Action oriented, selfdriver and outgoing - open for change with a flexible attitude
- Strong communication skills and high proficiency in spoken and written English
