Over the last couple of years, the Global IT organization has taken major steps to optimize the organization and the processes. The Global IT Division in LEO Pharma has the aim of always having and maintaining a world-class service delivery in a fast-growing global business, building roadmaps for their services together with the primary outsourcing partners. Global IT has embarked on a transformation journey towards an agile delivery method. A transition and transformation team is in place and agile practices are being implemented across Global IT. Digital Product & Service Delivery, which is responsible for all execution across LEO Pharma, is building up an agile setup with a view to enhancing collaboration, time to market and organizational resilience.

We have also embarked on an SAP S/4 HANA journey with our outsourcing partner to ensure future financial and GxP compliance, while creating a global, standard, business coherent, and customer focused SAP solution. Thereby enabling operational efficiency and supporting LEO’s financial growth. We will implement;

• Standard SAP system build on life science leading practice that ensures future sustainability in regards to compliance, system integrations, processes, controls, and data security.
• Transformation to one platform across all markets

As SAP PP/QM in Digital Product & Service Delivery you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in LEO Pharma’s Global Production planning and Quality Management capabilities and you will play a key role in the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA program, Savannah.

You will also be involved in ensuring that design and implementation of changes in the SAP PP and SAP QM solution are managed in accordance with the strategy, understanding requirements and translating these into IT solutions in close collaboration with our IT partners.

A strong understanding of Production planning and Quality Management in a Pharma context is required for this position. The applicant should have strong technical knowledge and understanding of how this setup interfaces with external regulatory authorities required in producing for global markets.

• A strong SAP PP/QM background is required with other SAP module knowledge preferable, SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), SAP Material Management (MM) and Finance Accounting.
• Strong overall PP/QM understanding on a system and process level.
• SAP Change management, ChaRM process, SOLMAN and SAP Solution Documentation

The Job

The Digital Product & Service Delivery Director area in Global IT plays a central role in delivering IT services that are reliable, scalable, cost efficient and meet agreed service levels. In your role as Senior SAP Consultant you will be part of the overall delivery of SAP services and in delivering systems and applications utilising SAP within the various LEO Pharma business areas. You will have close collaboration with line of business to ensure that the systems meet the requirements of the business. Requirements will come in the form of design, requirement changes and ensuring alignment with the external service provider. You will act as a central point of expertise between line of business stakeholders and our SAP support partner for design and implementation activities.

The role will be split between involvement in projects/development and operations. LEO Pharma is working towards an agile setup in system delivery, ensuring a continuous flow of development and value add to the Line of Business– you will play a key role in this journey.

• SAP PP/QM and other Global IT project involvement
• Responsibility for design decisions in SAP PP/QM and dependencies to supporting systems, and our business partners in close alignment with line of business and IT vendors

It is vital that you understand the business processes for you to deliver the required service. You must have the desire and ability to work both at the strategic and the operational level. Strategically, you will be a sparring partner for the business managers and the Head of Agile Delivery to make sure that implemented changes are in line with the strategic direction. Operationally, you will be involved in design decisions and alignment with Service Delivery Managers/Product Owner, line of business users as well as with the external service provider.

Moreover, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives for application groups, and you will be involved in projects to ensure, that SAP development is completed successfully and handed over to support. It will also be part of your job to proactively identify risks and issues and enforce management procedures to minimize application downtime or outages. It will be within your responsibility to collaborate, build and maintain key guiding principles, templates and other material and share with the other resources in the department ensuring standardization of governance towards the LoB.

Your qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business or another relevant field
• 5+ years of experience within SAP PP/QM Architecture / design / consulting
• SAP ECC/ S/4 HANA knowledge and experience in delivery within pharma industry
• Functional and technical understanding of relevant pharma solutions and integration with third party, on premise and cloud-based platforms
• Relevant certifications (Agile, ITIL etc.)
• Experience with delivering IT in the context of pharma/GxP is required
• Previous experience managing delivery of service by influencing others
• Being part of an international organization, you must possess very good English skills, written and spoken

We own and manage the LEO Pharma IT applications lifecycle as well as managing the outsourcing providers’ delivery of Digital Product & Service Delivery in Global IT.
