Siemens Mobility Denmark are looking for a Network Specialist to design and implement network solutions in our large infrastructure projects. You will also support our projects in network security questions and in relation to service/maintenance. You will join a highly skilled team of 3 persons, working together to provide strong solutions.
Areas of responsibilities
You will work very flexible with the possibility to work from our office in Ballerup or from your home. You can plan most of your own time and have a lot of influence on your workday.
There can be some traveling, mainly to our colleagues in Germany and the Nordic countries.
Qualifications
Your educational background is not so important, but you need:
You must be able to obtain a high level of security clearance from PET (the Danish Security and Intelligence Service).

Siemens Mobility Denmark are looking for a Network Specialist to design and implement network solutions in our large infrastructure projects. You will also support our projects in network security questions and in relation to service/maintenance. You will join a highly skilled team of 3 persons, working together to provide strong solutions.
Areas of responsibilities
- Design, implementation, and documentation of network architecture including datacentres, cloud solutions etc. for our customers and internally.
- Implement, configure etc. network units, including firewalls, virus scanners, routers, and switches.
- Advice management, sales department, project managers, service organization, customers etc. regarding network and network security issues
- Translate system requirements, as well as internal requirements, into reliable and secure solutions.
- Be involved in planning and participating in system tests.
- Provide 2. or 3. level support to customers, service organization and internally including participating in troubleshooting activities
- Stay updated with network technologies, cyber security etc.
You will work very flexible with the possibility to work from our office in Ballerup or from your home. You can plan most of your own time and have a lot of influence on your workday.

Qualifications
Your educational background is not so important, but you need:
- 2+ years’ “hands-on” experience in network design and system architecture in an industrial setting, including everything from infrastructure diagrams and network architecture over IP-planning, cabling to network security. Knowledge of radio communication is a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to understand, speak, read, and write both Danish and English at an understandable level.
- Understanding of the importance of stakeholder involvement and can accomplish win/win solutions through teamwork.
- Enjoy to “get your hands dirty”. This is not only a desk job, and you will have to go to our sites (located in Denmark,) do configuration, and perform tests etc. and sometimes work nights and weekends.
