GN is now looking for new Senior QA Developer, embedded software who can bring proven experience of software testing. The role will join the team of 11 skilled and dedicated colleagues in the Test Development team in DevOps & Framework and will report to Christian Hansen, Senior Manager, Test development.
As new Senior QA Developer, Embedded Software at GN Hearing you will specify the software system tests and verify correct behaviour of our signal processing algorithms, wireless protocols and operating systems. As the test expert, you will focus on the implementation of test automation as well as new tools and test systems for firmware tests.
In DevOps and Framework, the department work in Agile teams and as a tester you will be part of a development team and be an integrated part of the development environment and join the effort to understand the feature in progress.
Key Responsibilities
Some of your most important tasks will be to:
- Oversee the entire verification process from specifying, planning and carrying out tests to evaluating and reporting your findings directly to the developers.
- Verify software functionality, ensuring it meets internal requirements and follows standards and regulations.
- Review and evaluate software requirements and design documentation.
- Report on software development projects and evaluate and follow up on test reports.
- Administrate test cases and test execution, ensuring coverage and traceability.
Experienced developer with a proven history with software testing
This position is a great opportunity to work with many skilled developers and be the ambassador for the Test Development team and gives the opportunity to work in a cross functional network setting.
It is expected that you hold a degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent. With a solid experience with software testing and verification and that you have implemented test automation using C# or other OO programming languages.
Previous experience and technical knowledge of wireless protocols, hardware/software integration or experience with DevOps are an advantage.
