The SAP system is a strategically important system in Tryg and the system supports our critical business processes in relation to Finance and Procurement. Our SAP system consists of SAP on-premise systems, as well as SAP cloud systems, and the modules we have implemented include FI/CO, FSCD, BW, PI/PO and SAP Cloud Concur and Ariba. In addition, we are also using mainframe systems’ technology to deliver solutions for our users.
About the job | Put your capabilities to work and take responsibility
As a Solution Architect you are cooperating with a broad range of stakeholders from Tryg, the largest Nordic Insurance company. You will play an important role in all our SAP activities, with the aim that the SAP system is modernized in order to support our business processes to an even greater extent.
Operationally, you will be involved in day-to-day SAP activities, whether in a continuous improvement where you advise on tasks related to SAP Application Management or in relation to our IT operations supplier when the SAP system needs to be maintained.
You will be involved in continuous improvement and operation excellence requirements and thus ensure that architecture develops as planned. Also, you will be part of preparing and implementing our SAP roadmap including relevant SAP activities in close collaboration with your colleagues in Architecture and our suppliers.
In general, the SAP system must be modernized to next level, which i.a. means upgrades and implementation of new technology.
Team serving from Strategy to Operations
You will become part of IT Operations and working across departments responsible for development of the IT platform.
In the position as Solution Architect you will be challenged and you will find yourself working in an environment characterized by high professionalism and great ambitions.
We have outsourced all IT activities, which means that you will be working with a number of suppliers, all of whom are among the best in their field.
About you
You have a relevant educational background and you have probably worked as a SAP architect in the past. Instead, you may have worked broadly within SAP and thereby built up a number of relevant SAP competencies. You stay up-to-date with SAP in order to keep your skills continually updated.
As a person, you have a good business understanding and a process-oriented mindset. You exude credibility, are passionate about your work, and have a structured approach to your tasks.
To be successful in this role it is important that you are visionary and have a broad overview, have technical flair and are good at engaging in dialogue with your stakeholders. You are good at sharing knowledge and you communicate easily with people at all levels in the organization. Finally, you thrive both independently and as part of a team.
Our team consists of local and English speaking employees, consultants and partners. It is very important that you embrace diversity and collaboration across cultures and nationalities, and you have to be able to communicate fluently in one of the Nordic languages and English, both verbally and in writing
