About the team
In our agile release trains, we work on creating insurance targeting private customers. We are responsible for both developing the digital insurance platform as well as developing new insurance products together with Tryg Privat. You will be part of one of our 16 strong Private IT Development-teams distributed in two Agile Release Trains. We have both on-shore and off-shore developers. Our team is characterized by an unpretentious culture, strong skills, and a positive atmosphere. This team, PAPI+, is implementing integrations throughout Tryg’s IT landscape. The PAPI+ teams support both trains.
About the role
We are currently on the outlook of a Lead Developer who, together with the Integration Architect also part of the PAPI+ team, can grow the team and team members across the ARTs to the next level. You will primarily work on SOA, REST API and GraphQL-oriented solutions, and contribute to Domain Driven Design for encapsulating, modelling, and designing our integrations. Creating microservices and designing the architecture is an integral part of this.
Technology-wise we work with various parts of the entire IBM IIB-stack including API Gateway, but we also work with open-source Java-frameworks such as Spring Boot and related components depending on the requirements. In order to integrate with some of our legacy systems, we also work with web interfaces of the proprietary EntireX product.
About you
You have in-depth knowledge of and experience in software development in general and being a strong advocate for modern development practices. Specifically, you have implemented solutions and integrations applying the principles around decoupling, encapsulation, and abstraction.
It´s an extra plus if you come with a technical background from within the insurance business or FinTech in general and are aware of the ACORD model. By your colleagues you are considered as being a Technical Master.
