Do you want to execute our UX strategy within SAP and enterprise mobile solutions?
As our new Solution Architect, you help shape the IT solutions that are implemented across the LEGO Group, from ideation to product or service.
Thus, you contribute to a key area at an exciting time when digital solutions are fast progressing, taking users and data onto mobile platforms and into the cloud!
Core Responsibilities
You will be building and maintaining tech solutions. Your key focus area will be to support the initiatives driven by the UX Mobile & Portals team by helping to architect and build solutions delivered by the team and contribute actively in the team sprints with your own code and help define best practices. You will interact with other departments within Business Technology in order to support the UX, Mobility and Portal aspects of their products and solutions. You will listen and be a sparring partner to our business stakeholders to ensure that we deliver the best possible user experience for the end users. Furthermore you will:
• Take part in design & architecture workshops
• Contribute with quality code and best practices that will help setting the direction for the other developers within the team
• Take responsibility for solutions that are delivered by the team and developments done by external contractors, making sure best practices and standards are followed
• Participate in projects and oversee that solutions are implemented accordingly to the design guidelines
• Study trends and developments around front-end development and SAP User Experience, both from a functional and a technical perspective

Do you have what it takes?
Solid technology and business understanding
To succeed in this position, you need to have a very solid background in Mobile and SAP development where you are up to date on all the latest UX and cloud initiatives. You also have good knowledge about and are open to the world outside SAP to ensure we always use the best technology for the job.
You are a great teammate with a positive attitude, particularly when problems arise, and you dare to challenge demands and suggestions to get to the core of an issue. Further, you have the robustness to reject suggestions and demands from stakeholders, when you see it important to protect our enterprise architecture. Further qualifications:
• A degree within IT
• 5+ years of related architecture/senior developer experience
• Expert knowledge within SAP Fiori / UI5
• Good experience with ABAP, particularly within SAP Gateway / OData Services
• Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform
• Can easily work with GIT and Continuous Integration pipelines
• Mastery of JavaScript and willingness to explore new technologies like React.js, React Native and Typescript
• Some exposure to AWS and/or Azure would be an advantage
