Core Responsibilities
Who are we and what we need your help to do:
We have a busy and exciting agenda, so we currently have open positions in three teams:
• Security Engineering, primarily responsible for delivering threat detection capabilities to the rest of LEGO. The team uses a wide range of Open-Source and proprietary technologies and tools. One being our Splunk based SIEM solution. Your day to day tasks can be anything from managing cloud-based environments to working on complex threat detection logic
• Software Defined Network, who are setting new standards for security, scalability and performance on our network via Cisco SDA, Arista and Palo Alto combined with python and well-known automation and orchestration tools
• Cloud Foundation, who are migrating, creating, running and monitoring enterprise applications in cloud/AWS. Defining the standards for the transformation from on-prem enterprise applications to cloud. All tasks are done with a strong focus on automation and enabling infrastructure as code for the internal customers

You will be part of one of the three teams (consisting of 3-6 specialists) and you are supported by a Product Owner and a Squad Lead who acts as your scrum master. We believe that working as real teams with a shared goal and an agile mindset enables us to go faster and higher.
We support “becoming teams” in various ways, e.g. though team days, where we leave the office and spent the day together diving deeper into topics that interests us or, we don’t normally have time for, or by doing team building activities!
Besides being close with your team, working in our open office environment in Billund means that you will be connected with 100 other IT professionals with whom you can discuss ideas, solutions and innovative across technologies. Our work environment could be described as informal, regarding dress code, communication style, and humor.
We work in an agile way and are driven by our LEGO core values; creativity, quality, fun, imagination and care. We eat well in our great canteen, and coffee is good and plenty! We love playing with our LEGO products, which you will see from the moment you enter our office space.
Do you have what it takes?
You can be a newly graduate, self-learned or have several years of experience, but you have a strong passion for technology, an analytic mindset, a self-driven excitement, and you are eager to drive, learn and get things done.
You probably have a Bachelor´s Degree or higher within IT, maybe Computer Science or Software engineering. Most importantly you can demonstrate your coding skills, infrastructure knowledge or network understanding.
You are curious to learn about – or already experienced in – several of these technologies: Splunk, SDA, AWS, Palo Alto, Arista, VMware, Salt stack, Python or similar.
You are not all the above – but you have an edge that includes some of the elements.
