Make your mark on global and cross-functional sustainability projects
Our ambitions and activities on the climate and environment agenda are growing, and we have created a new role as Sustainability Specialist to further drive the development of this area and execute on the many important projects in scope. So, if you are passionate about ESG and want to make an impact on climate and environmental-related issues, integrating these aspects into the operations of a global manufacturing company, this is a remarkable opportunity!
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Passionate and data-oriented Specialist
To succeed in this role, we imagine you have a 2-3 years of relevant experience, the knowledge and profound interest in working strategically with sustainability. You approach problem-solving analytically, and as a person you are persistent and passionate about sustainability and you want to drive change in a complex environment. You are positive, dedicated, and proactive, finding solutions where others see problems and naturally taking initiative where needed. You believe that cross-functional collaboration and teamwork are key to success.
Further, you have the following skills and experience:
Your new team
You will be part of the global Corporate Communication team at Nilfisk, and a small team of passionate sustainability professionals. We are responsible for driving CSR management at a global level at Nilfisk, and we have a high degree of collaboration with internal as well as external stakeholders. You will be based at the Nilfisk HQ in Brøndby (Greater Copenhagen).

Make your mark on global and cross-functional sustainability projects

Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Facilitate and drive global climate and environment projects towards achieving our 2030 climate and environment objectives
- Work close together with representatives from Nilfisk sites across the world on defining and setting local targets aligned with our global climate and environmental targets
- Secure and monitor global data collection and CO2 calculations aligned with the GHG protocol and SBTi
- Drive and facilitate Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon reduction projects including conducting LCA analysis on our products
- Working on sustainability design guidelines and supporting R&D in applying sustainability standards into the product development
Passionate and data-oriented Specialist

- Subject matter expert on climate change and environmental aspects
- Relevant university degree
- Strong analytical skills and data management experience
- Project management skills
- Solid networking and interpersonal skills that make you thrive in facilitating collaboration across borders and organizational structures
- Fluency in English, verbally and in writing
