Your team
As part of the Global FP&A team, you will be a member of our extended FP&A team, covering Global FP&A, Operations Finance, and Global Function Business Partners, reporting to the Vice President, Head of FP&A.
On behalf of the CFO and CEO, the Global FP&A team drives a relentless focus on Nilfisk’s financial performance through creating forward-looking visibility and insights, deriving business recommendations, measuring progress, defining accountability and financial structures, improving business understanding and financial awareness, and supporting key initiatives. Nilfisk is currently on the heels of a business rebound following the pandemic, and with a new Executive Management team recently in place, we play a pivotal role in supporting the Nilfisk strategy towards sustainable growth. The requirements to Global FP&A are high, and we will lift our capabilities substantially and quickly, giving plenty of opportunities for each of us to make our mark from day 1.
The scope of your role will constitute a natural mix of recurring core FP&A activities and driving current strategic and financial topics, as our team seeks to support the Nilfisk Leadership Team in delivering our strategy and goals. The background and development interests of each team member will be key in assigning ownership of specific tasks. Over time your work will cover aspects such as:
Your location will be at Nilfisk Global headquarters in Brøndby. Some travel is to be expected but will be based on need.

The scope of your role will constitute a natural mix of recurring core FP&A activities and driving current strategic and financial topics, as our team seeks to support the Nilfisk Leadership Team in delivering our strategy and goals. The background and development interests of each team member will be key in assigning ownership of specific tasks. Over time your work will cover aspects such as:
- Analyzing all facets of business performance (Revenue, Prices, Opex, Overhead, Investments) and related development of value drivers and KPIs
- Building data-driven insights and subsequent recommendations on key strategic topics
- Driving budget and forecasting processes with business leaders
- Producing periodic management and board reporting
- Defining and enforcing business and financial policies safeguarding our profitability and return
- Modelling the financial impact of strategic initiatives and major investment decisions
- Supporting the CFO and Nilfisk Leadership team on specific ad-hoc projects and analytical tasks, e.g. investment decisions and business portfolio development
- Working cross-functionally with business leaders as an internal consultant to integrate insights and support optimal decision making
- Continually developing and optimizing FP&A team processes, procedures, reports, etc.
Your location will be at Nilfisk Global headquarters in Brøndby. Some travel is to be expected but will be based on need.
In terms of your profile, you likely:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance or similar
- Have 3+ years working experience in an corporate FP&A / Business Finance position, corporate finance, or in consultancy
- Have a flair for understanding the numbers behind a business, and solve business problems with facts in a structured manner
- Are strong in financial modelling in Excel and can translate analytical output into convincing insights in verbal and written communication
- Have a high energy level and a willingness to learn
- Thrive in an open, meritocratic environment
