To the QHSE department we are currently seeking an ambitious Student Assistant - with a strong technical and analytical mindset.
With reference to the QHSE Manager you will be a part of the global QHSE team at the headquarter in Esbjerg. In the team, there are 8 colleagues who are responsible for quality standards and systems worldwide.

QHSE works interdisciplinary at all levels of the organization and plays an important role in product and supplier approvals. In addition, the department works closely with VIKING's other production units and service stations, which is represented in more than 35 countries and 80 locations with VIKING owned subsidiary companies.

Primary tasks

  • Participate in delivering support, registration and following-up of complaints
  • Assist in various tasks in our lab such as performing quality controls of products and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Work with handling claims flow of damaged items
  • KPI follow-up and monthly reporting
  • Support with Declarations and Certificates
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with the global organization
  • Ad hoc tasks for your colleagues in the QHSE department

Your profile

  • You are self-propelled and good at communicating and collaborating with others
  • Currently studying within a relevant field such as engineer, data analyst, Risk Management or a bachelor in Technology Management and Marine Engineering
  • We prefer graduates who have a minimum of 2 years left of their studies
  • You work systematically and structured and are diligent about details
  • Excellent IT Skills and strong drive with a good level of energy
  • You thrive in an environment where you have to ask for tasks rather than waiting to have them served and you have a hands-on approach towards the tasks given to you

Knowledge of Danish is a requirement and in a truly global organization as ours, excellent spoken and written English is necessary.

Working hours are approximately 15-20 hours a week, with the possibility of more hours during school breaks.
